Abstract: A method for connecting a first joining partner to a second joining partner. After provision of the first joining partner and the second joining partner, a lacquer layer is applied to the first joining partner. Then the first joining partner and the second joining partner are saturated together with an impregnating resin. The lacquer layer is produced from a lacquer composition based on an epoxy resin mixture, a curing accelerator, a silane-based, epoxy-functional bonding agent, and a solvent. The epoxy resin mixture has 10 wt.-% to 94 wt.-% of at least one solid epoxy resin with a maximum epoxy count of 2 Eq/kg, 1 wt.-% to 50 wt.-% of at least one solid, multifunctional epoxy resin with an epoxy count >4 Eq/kg, and 5 wt.-% to 40 wt.-% of a phenol and/or kresol novolak with a melting point >30° C. After impregnation, the viscosity of the impregnating resin is reduced such that the first joining partner and the second joining partner are connected to one another.

Abstract: In the absorber forming and transferring mechanism 100, at a core reception time, the rotational velocity V4 of the rotary transfer member 160 is same as the rotation velocity V3 of the forming drum 150. At a core transfer time, the rotational velocity V5 of the rotary transfer member 160 is same as the conveyance velocity V2 of the web 9A. During a period from the core reception time to the core transfer time, the rotational velocity V5 of the rotary transfer member 160 becomes higher than the rotational velocity V3 of the forming drum 150. During a period from the core transfer time to the core reception time, the rotational velocity V5 of the rotary transfer member 160 becomes lower than the conveyance velocity V2 of the web 9A.
Abstract: Methods are described for addressing the bowing and/or warping of flexible substrates, attached to a rigid carrier, which occurs as a result of the thermal challenges of semiconductor processing. In particular, viscoelastic adhesives are provided which can bond a flexible substrate to a rigid carrier and mediate the thermal mismatch which often is present due to the distinctly different materials properties of most flexible substrates, such as plastic films, with respect to rigid carriers, such as silicon wafers. Assemblies are also provided which are produced according to the methods described herein.
