Abstract: There are provided systems and methods relating to reconciling lottery transactions. In one form, the system includes point-of-sale (POS) systems at retail store for inputting of first lottery transaction data for lottery transactions occurring at the retail stores in which the lottery transactions correspond to lottery games being operated by a third party. It includes a POS server for extracting the first lottery transaction data and a retailer server for receiving second lottery transaction data from a server of the third party. Further, it includes a control circuit that conducts one-to-one matching of entries of the two data sets, determines whether a discrepancy exists based on the one-to-one matching, conducts one-to-many matching by iteratively aggregating different combinations of entries of one data set and comparing them with individual entries of the other data set, and determines whether a discrepancy exists based on the one-to-many matching.

Abstract: Provided are an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a storage medium configured such that a mobile information device is detachable from a support stand having a display unit and the display unit of the support stand can be effectively used even when the mobile information device is detached from the support stand. Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing trends in image data is disclosed. A trend query is received relating to an object category and defining two or more groups of interest for which trend data is to be determined with a defined time period. Visual tokens of interest are identified relating to the object category for use in searching a token database. One or more image data sets are identified that are associated with each of the two or more groups of interest. Visual tokens are analyzed matching the visual tokens of interest that are associated with the identified image data sets to generate trend data for each of the two or more groups of interest for the defined period of time. An output is generated based on a comparison of the trend data generated for the two or more groups of interest for the defined period of time.

Abstract: In one aspect a computerized method for detecting anomalies in expense reports of an enterprise includes the step of implementing a semantic analysis algorithm on an expense report data submitted by an employee, wherein the expense report data is provided in a computer-readable format. The method includes the step of, with one or more machine learning algorithms, detecting an anomaly in expense report data. The method includes the step of obtaining an augmentation of the expense report data with a set of web scale data. The method includes the step of verifying receipts associated with an expense report. The method includes the step of determining that the employee or any employee has previously claimed an expense in the expense report data. The method includes the step of identifying an inappropriate expense in the expense report data.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a machine learning algorithm is used to train a machine-learned model to create a three-dimensional representation of products, with each product mapped into a coordinate in the three-dimensional space. The model selects the coordinates based on the similarity of the product to other products. Coordinates that are closer geometrically in the three-dimensional space represent products that are similar to each other, whereas as the coordinates get further and further away, this implies that the products are less and less similar. This machine-learned model then not only allows for quick analysis of multiple products, as similarity between products or groups of products can be performed using geometric calculations (e.g., cosine distance), but also can then be tied into a three-dimensional representation that can be displayed either on a two-dimensional display or displayed on a three-dimensional display.

Abstract: Authentication systems and methods using orientation sensor-enabled payment cards are disclosed herein where a server receives an authorization request from a web server or an electronic terminal. The server then transmits an instruction to the orientation sensor to determine whether the payment card has an orientation that is consistent with a predetermined orientation. When the payment card has an orientation consistent with the predetermined orientation, the server executes a first authentication protocol. However, if the payment card has an orientation that is not consistent with the predetermined orientation, the server executes a second authentication protocol that is more restrictive than the first authentication protocol.

An image is processed to detect an object in the image by performing foreground detection on the image. The object is classified in accordance with an object category, and one or more attributes of the object are determined. A visual token is generated that comprises information including the object category and the one or more attributes of the object. A trend is identified in at least one of the object and an attribute of the object by analyzing a database storing a plurality of visual tokens.

Abstract: A payment object reader can comprise a near-field communication (NFC) system, a Bluetooth system, one or more processors, and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media. The payment object reader can receive a command, from a point-of-sale (POS) application and via the Bluetooth system, to read a transaction instrument using the NFC system, wherein the POS application is executing on a POS device of a merchant The payment object reader can read payment information from the transaction instrument using the NFC system and send the payment information to the POS application via the Bluetooth system. Then the payment object reader can receive, from the POS application via the Bluetooth system, a transaction proxy corresponding to a merchant financial account of the merchant. The payment object reader then can send, via the NFC system, the transaction proxy to the transaction instrument.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for querying a digital twin marketplace for digital twins relevant to a work order and delivering said digital twins to a mobile computing device. A query for digital twins on a digital twin marketplace is generated using a workorder, followed by an availability assessment to determine the availability of the queried digital twins to a querying user. When a queried digital twin is available to the querying user, the queried digital twin is provided to a mobile computing device associated with the querying user. Querying and providing digital twins in this manner streamlines the determination and provision of digital twin assets to work order responders in-situ.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for correlating electronic communications related to financial transactions. A computing device may receive a first communication related to an update to a past financial transaction. The computing device may identify a second communication by querying, based on the first communication, a communications database. The first communication and second communication may be correlated using one or more natural language processing algorithms. Based on correlating the first communication and second communication, the computing device may identify a portion of the second communication corresponding to the at least one good or service of the past financial transaction by processing, using the one or more natural language processing algorithms, the second communication. The computing device may then cause output of data indicating a correlation between the first communication and the second communication, and the indication of the change to the at least one good or service.

Abstract: Technologies for enhancing payment transactions include a payment gateway computing system. The payment gateway computing system receives authorization request messages from point of sale systems of one or more betting-related merchants. The transactional information for each of the plurality of authorization requests is cataloged into a repository as historical payment data. A risk profile based on the historical payment data associated with a cardholder is generated. The risk profile can be correlated to transactional velocity or other parameter. The risk profile is transmitted to one of a plurality of payment vehicle issuers that can utilize the risk profile for authorization decisioning. Therefore, the payment vehicle issuer can make authorization decisioning with expanding insight into the cardholder's gaming-related purchase activity.

The method includes a computing device receiving text based tax question and answer pairings and inputting the tax question and answer pairings into a content model executed by the device and outputting a content score for each tax question and answer pairing based on the model. The content score comprises a number within a range. One end of the range corresponds to product content and another end of the range corresponds to general tax content. The device outputs an answer quality score for the tax question and answer pairings based at least in part on the content score and votes assigned to each respective question and answer pair, wherein votes comprises up votes and down votes. The device may generate a FAQ list stored in a database based at least in part on the answer quality score.

Abstract: A system is provided for netting obligations between entities of a cycle of obligations. Each obligation specifying an quantity of an item that a from-entity of the cycle is obligated to provide to a to-entity of the cycle. For each entity, the system determines whether the sum of its inventory of the item and the quantity of the obligation on which it is a to-entity is sufficient to satisfy the obligation on which it is a from-entity. When sufficient, the system identifies one or more netting transactions to settle the obligations of the cycle. The system then directs the execution of the netting transactions and settlement transactions to effect and record the settling of the obligations.

Abstract: A receipt capture tool residing on a customer mobile device may be initiated when a customer completes an in-store or online purchase. The receipt capture tool may prompt the customer to capture an image of a receipt detailing a purchase and an item (e.g., product or service) purchased. For instance, the photo of a physical receipt may be taken by the mobile device, or an electronic receipt or email detailing the purchasing transmitted from a physical merchant or online merchant server may be stored. Receipt information may be extracted and saved with other information pertinent to the item purchased, including warranty information. If the customer needs to return or repair the item purchased at a future date, the receipt and warranty information may be subsequently accessed via their mobile device. The receipt and warranty information may also be stored in a searchable database to facilitate easy retrieval by the customer.
