Abstract: Agencies oftentimes desire to monitor personnel in the field during the course of their duties. To provide flexible monitoring capabilities to agencies, a common mobile device such as a mobile phone is converted for use as a radio-based listening system to collect and transmit audio data. Phone features and accessories are leveraged to collect additional data for transmission. Collected data is streamed or otherwise transmitted to monitoring devices at the agency or in the field for operational oversight and recordation.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system that provides a first message to a communication device that includes a temporary international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) to be provisioned onto the device. A first registration message is sent to a registration function server, wherein the server includes a registry, wherein the first registration message indicates to the server to add the temporary IMSI to the registry. A second registration message is sent to the server in response to detecting expiration of a limited time period, wherein the second registration message indicates to the server to remove the temporary IMSI from the registry. A second message is provided to the wireless communication device that indicates to the wireless communication device the expiration of the limited time period, and that the temporary IMSI is removed from the registry of the registration function server. The disclosed technology determines information associated with a vehicle, generates a request for a fuel delivery on-demand service using the information, confirms identification of the vehicle using a wireless signal of the vehicle, provides access to the vehicle to enable performance of the fuel delivery on-demand service and secures the vehicle after completion of the fuel delivery on-demand service.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing personalized dining checks created by individualized check item ownership or payment enabled by associating device and table indicia. One method includes: receiving information identifying the mobile devices of one or more patrons and information identifying a table indicia as a result of associating the mobile devices of the one or more patrons with a table indicia; receiving requests for dining items, transaction amounts for each dining item, and payment preferences associated with each dining item from each of the one or more patrons; determining the amounts owed by each patron, based on the dining items requested by each patron, transaction amounts for each dining item, and the payment preference of each patron for each requested dining item; and outputting the amount owed by each patron to an electronic storage medium or display of the mobile device of each patron.

Abstract: Systems and methods are presented by which a contractor can initiate a proposed variation to a project contract and request payments against the proposed variation even before the variation is approved by the other party to the project contract. A data structure representative of proposed variation is generated and maintained as the proposed variation is reviewed, approved, and elevated to become part of the actual budget for the project. Because the same data structure is maintained throughout the process and after the proposed variation is approved, payment requests, payments, and any other actions taken against the data structure before the proposed variation is approved are automatically linked to the actual budget after approval and, thereby, are recognized and processed by external accounting systems as though the variations were created by the other party to the contract.

Abstract: A method and electronic mobile device display imaging satellite information on a screen of the mobile device. A viewing direction and angle of a camera of the mobile device, a location of the mobile device, and orbit information for satellites in a vicinity of the mobile device are all determined. Satellite tracks for each of the satellites determined to be in the vicinity of the mobile device are then computed based on the location of the mobile device, the viewing direction and angle of the camera of the mobile device, and the orbit information corresponding to each of the respective one or more satellites. A graphical representation of the computed satellite tracks may then be displayed on a display screen of the mobile device as an overlay over a real world image being captured in real time by the camera of the mobile device.

Abstract: A lost tracking device associated with a tracking system can be located by leveraging one or more community members by inviting these members to join a search party. Search party criteria can be identified and candidate search party members can be selected and invited based on the search party criteria. When invited candidate search party members accept the invitations, they are added to the search party. A last known location of the tracking device can be provided to the search party members, and the search party can remain in effect until the lost tracking device is located. The location of the lost tracking device is provided to the tracking system, which forwards it to the owner of the lost tracking device. A reward can be provided by the owner of the lost tracking device to the tracking system, which releases the reward to the search party member that located the lost tracking device.

Message recipients associated with the remote party may be identified as having security access permissions corresponding to access parameters for the linked documents.
