Abstract: A method and device for controlling a hotspot recommendation pop-up window, a computer-readable medium and an electronic device are provided. On reception of a pop-up window display instruction, a pop-up window including prompt options corresponding to multiple hotspots is displayed on the hot video playing page. In a case that the pop-up window is displayed on the hot video playing page, a first control on the hot video playing page except for the pop-up window is set to a disabled state. Further, the user can select among the prompt options corresponding to multiple hotspots included in the pop-up window.

In this method, the image depicting the item is accessed; in addition, other images and their item identifiers are also accessed. A match of the image with one of the other images is identified. With a match, the image is then associated with an item identifier of the matched image.

Abstract: Techniques in this disclosure may provide a user interface that concurrently displays multiple panels which provide visualization of emergency call data of a law enforcement agency. The user interface can provide a high-level overview of emergency calls in a geographical area. Each panel in the user interface can provide visualization of the emergency calls and/or statistics relating to the calls. A user can customize which panels to include in the user interface and/or customize setting for each panel. The user may apply various types of filters to the data displayed in the user interface, and the panels can update the visualizations according to the filters. The user interface can also provide the ability to show data at various levels of detail within the same user interface or panel. The techniques in the disclosure can provide a convenient, digestible overview of tactical and/or strategic data in a single user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods for preloading an amount of content based on user scrolling are disclosed. A body of content may be presented that takes up a certain amount of display space within a graphical user interface. Scroll information characterizing user scrolling within the graphical user interface may be obtained. A portion of the body of content outside a field of view of the graphical user interface may be determined based on the scroll information.

Abstract: The system manages a data structure that defines at least one topic limit for each client computer. The data structure can cause each client computer to display different user interface formats based on a topic limit that is allowed per thread. The data structure causes some devices, which may have a limited viewing area, to only show a single-topic thread, while the data structure also causes other devices to display multi-topic threads. Thus, for high priority topics or for devices having a limited display area, the system can cause the display of a single-topic thread pertaining to a topic to which an incoming message corresponds. This feature can improve user interaction by bringing focus to high priority threads when messages of a particular topic are received at select devices, while allowing other devices to provide a broader perspective of thread formats having multiple topics when the same messages are received.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are related to a system and method of controlling a display of image stream. The system may include a memory to store the image stream; the image stream may comprise a plurality of image frames. The system may further include a processor configured to execute the method. The moving image stream may be displayed to a user in an image stream display area of a screen and a frame rate control interface may be generated on a speed control area of the screen, such that the image stream display area is horizontally adjacent to the speed control area. An indication of a desired frame rate for displaying the image stream of the image frames may be received from the user, in that the frame rate may be selected according to a location of a pointing indicator in the speed control area.

A set of operations relevant to the target is selected and verbal command suggestions relevant to the selected set of operations and the determined target are generated. At least a portion of the generated verbal command suggestions is provided for presentation in association with the multimodal user interface in one of three interface variants: one that presents command suggestions as a list, one that presents command suggestions using contextual overlay windows, and one that presents command suggestions embedded within the interface. Each of the proposed interface variants facilitates user awareness of verbal commands that are capable of being executed and teaches users how available verbal commands can be invoked.
