Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide an order processing method, apparatus, device, system and storage medium, where the method includes: acquiring an original order to be processed; searching for unsorted target orders, where the target orders are obtained by combining a plurality of original orders; decomposing at least part of the searched target orders into original orders; combining the original orders obtained by decomposition and the original order to be processed to regenerate one or more target orders. The order processing method, apparatus, device, system and storage medium provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can realize dynamic roll-back combining, so that the newly arrived original order is combined with the currently unsorted target orders, and the out-of-warehouse efficiency is effectively improved.

Abstract: A flexible advance system allows users to request and receive advances. The flexible advance system processes advances such that short-term advances are repaid through a wage deduction from the user's next regularly scheduled compensation period. The flexible advance system provides a user interface that allows users to request to receive compensation for a portion of time worked. Responsive to a request, an entry in a database associated with the user is accessed to determine a total amount of available advance compensation available for request by the user. In response to the requested amount being less than the total amount of available advance compensation, a transfer of compensation is executed to an account of the user. The flexible advance system also modifies the entry in the database by subtracting the compensated amount of time from the total amount of uncompensated time.

Abstract: Identity verification (IDV) using a payment processing platform is described herein. In an example, a computing device can receive identifying information of a user. The computing device can request payment information of a payment instrument of the user and can receive the payment information of the payment instrument of the user. The computing device can prompt the user to present the payment instrument at a point-of-sale (POS) of a trusted merchant and can verify the identity of the user based at least in part on verification information received from a merchant device operable by the trusted merchant at the POS.

Abstract: A system for evaluating human interactions with items, such as products displayed on shelves, includes at least one wireless reader which collects data from a set of associated wireless tags in an interrogation zone. The tags and readers may be based on RFID technology. The collected data includes an identifier for an item that is associated with each wireless tag and a touch sensor status indicating whether the item is being touched. A computer receives and aggregates the collected data and outputs an evaluation of human interactions with the items based on the data.

Abstract: A method includes detecting, via an RFID reader of a package repository, an RFID tag associated with a package and, based on detecting the RFID tag, communicating, to a network device, an update for a shipping history. The method includes detecting, by a sensor associated with the package repository, a presence in a vicinity of the package repository. The method also includes detecting that the RFID tag is outside a range of the RFID reader and, responsive to the RFID tag being outside the range of the RFID reader, transmitting at least a portion of sensor data captured subsequent to detecting the presence to the network device.

Abstract: A method provides for using a wireless patron unit within a venue and within a vicinity of the venue. The method includes providing at least one patron with a wireless patron unit by either permitting the at least one patron to temporarily use a provided wireless patron unit that includes at least one venue specific application program, or by providing at least one venue specific application program to the at least one patron for downloading into a patron-owned wireless communication device that can be used during the at least one patron's visit to the venue. The method also includes connecting the wireless patron unit to a server enabling communication between the wireless patron unit and the server, entering a patron order for at least one item or service provided by the venue into the wireless patron unit, and determining a current location of the wireless patron unit.

Abstract: A computer-implemented for preparing a customer invoice using a computing system including at least one processor communicatively coupled to a memory device is provided. The method includes (i) receiving a batch file of usage data on a first schedule, wherein the first schedule repeats a plurality of times before a billing cycle ends, (ii) identifying a first set of usage events having a first characteristic, wherein the first characteristic requires that a per usage rule be applied to each of the first set, (iii) retrieving the first per usage rule from a memory device, (iv) applying the retrieved first per usage rule to each of the first set to generate modified usage events in accordance with the first schedule, (v) aggregating the modified usage events, and (vi) storing the aggregated modified usage events in the memory device in accordance with the first schedule for retrieval when the billing cycle ends.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure can include systems, methods, computer-readable media, techniques and methodologies for transactional document processing. Users can utilize documents to complete transactions. A user device, such as a point of sale (POS) device may be used to enter user information as well as capture an image of a check. A financial service server, in communication with the POS device, may forward the request to a document analysis server. The document analysis server may use the information received from the POS device to determine whether the document is approved to be used in a transaction. The document analysis server may obtain financial information from an image of the check. The document analysis server may use the user information and financial information to obtain additional information (e.g., credit history, transaction history, etc.).

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine readable media are provided for location-based time-limited services. In exemplary embodiments, one or more beacons are disposed within a facility to define a geo-fenced zone. A dynamic notification module implemented in a server receives a notification that a client device is within the geo-fenced zone and determines that the device meets designated criteria based on the device interacting with the beacons at a designated time. The dynamic notification module transmits a first message to the device that includes item information associated with the geo-fenced zone, receives a response to the first message at a subsequent time and in response transmits instructions to the device to execute a time-limited service. Subsequently, the dynamic notification module transmits a second message to the device including information for a complementary item and a dynamic sale price for the complementary item.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for managing a physical inventory. Image data from a number of cameras is processed to recognize inventory items from identifying indicia and determine their respective locations to build a three-dimensional model of the inventory item distribution. Comparison with a database model of the inventory item distribution may indicate discrepancies, such as misplaced items. A picking agent may be dispatched to pick a target item by following a particular path, which may be designated in an overlay on a portable heads-up display. The picking agent may also perform a corrective inventory management action on a non-target item while picking the target item. The corrective inventory management action may include repositioning an item, reorienting the item for better visibility of its identifying indicia, replacing the item's identifying indicia, determining if the item is of expected weight, and gathering new image data.

Abstract: A point of sale terminal of a merchant includes a third party payment provider display area for payment using a third party payment provider. The point of sale terminal receives an authentication notification for a consumer from the third party payment provider. The consumer is authenticated using one or more of a personal identification number, an image of the consumer, a quick response code scanned from a mobile device of the consumer, or a code received via near field communications with the mobile device of the consumer. The point of sale terminal requests payment from the third party payment provider for a transaction with the consumer using the transaction amount and authentication information. The third party provider display area allows new payment modalities to be used at the point of sale terminal without requiring modification of the instructions for the point of sale terminal.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed including a production planner that receives a sales forecast for configurations of an automobile. The demand planner also receives constraints associated with an automobile supply chain. The demand planner further models configurations and constraints as a mixed integer linear programming problem, determines a production plan for automobiles, and sends instructions to cause automated machinery to retrieve an amount of automobiles equal to a forecasted production level minus a current inventory level and to move the amount of the automobile to an inventory location of the automobile.

Abstract: Systems and methods that facilitate performing multiple transactions at once using a vehicle-based wallet are disclosed herein. The vehicle-based wallet can link to a plurality of mobile wallets and perform singular transactions with ATMs and POS machines, the singular transactions being a group transaction associated with one or more of the mobile wallets. The vehicle-based wallet can collect intended transactions between the ATMs and the POS machines and the mobile wallets, and then gather them together and perform a single group transaction made up of the individual transactions for multiple people that are within the vehicle.

Abstract: A system and method for increasing asset utilization using satellite aided location tracking. Smart sensor technology incorporated into mobile tracking hardware affixed to an asset can be used to support decision processes related to management of multiple assets. Automated decision processes based on customized business rules can operate on asset positions at various defined landmark locations and customized geographical areas.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes identifying which retail items in a set of retail items have erroneous on-hands values stored in a database and removing the identified retail items from the set of retail items to form a sub-set of retail items. A nominal sales floor capacity stored in the database for the retail items in the sub-set of retail items are evaluated without evaluating the nominal sales floor capacity of the identified retail items. The nominal sales floor capacity stored in the database for at least one retail item is corrected based on evaluating the nominal sales floor capacity stored in the database.

Abstract: A system and method for verifying price and product information displayed on tags for products on a shelf in a retail store. A retailer management server stores data relating to products including stored prices for the products and planogram information, for example. A hand-held portable terminal is configured to communicate with the server and verify data on a shelf tag. The terminal includes a scanner for scanning barcodes/UPCs/GTINs on a shelf tag associated with a product of a manufacturer, as well as the barcode on the product. The system processes and compares the scanned information of the shelf tag, including price information and optionally location data, with stored information for the product as obtained from the server, and issues an alarm (sound or vibration) from the hand-held device if the compared data is incorrect or inconsistent (i.e., not the same).

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing an advanced hardware system for a self-service kiosk are disclosed herein. In specific embodiments of the invention, a payment interface device is provided. The device includes an integrated touch display, a means for receiving payment information, and a casing holding the integrated touch display and the means for receiving payment information. The device also includes an applications microprocessor and a secure microprocessor located within the casing. The applications microprocessor instantiates an operating system and stores instructions for execution by the operating system for operative communication with a peripheral bar code scanner and a peripheral display. The secure microprocessor stores instructions to encrypt payment information for the system and is in operative communication with the means for receiving payment information.

Abstract: Techniques facilitating cognitive route planning for unit replenishment in a distributed network are provided. In one example, a computer-implemented method can include determining, by a system operatively coupled to one or more processors, a time limit for unit replenishment at a unit dispensing device based on a unit depletion rate for the unit dispensing device. The computer-implemented method can also include generating, by the system, a route plan for the unit replenishment based on the unit depletion rate, the time limit, and respective unit depletion rates and respective time limits for other unit dispensing devices of a set of unit dispensing devices. The unit depletion rate can be based on historical and projected withdrawal data. Further, the unit dispensing device can be included in the set of unit dispensing devices located within a defined area. The time limit can indicate time remaining until the unit dispensing device is depleted of units.

Abstract: A payment handling system may operate to handle payments for the cost of an open ticket transaction in which incremental authorization operations are performed. The payment handling system may receive items to add to the open ticket, payment instruments for paying the cost of the open ticket or adjustments to any bill splitting arrangement throughout the life of the open ticket. As items are added, payment instruments are received, and/or adjustments are input, the amount allocated to the one or more payments instruments may be updated. Incremental authorization values may be determined for some or all of the payment instruments. When the amount allocated to a payment instrument exceeds the incremental authorization value, an authorization of the instrument is attempted and a new authorization value is determined. At the end of the interaction, the open ticket is closed and payment is executed.
