  • Patent number: 11003650
Abstract: Some examples of the present disclosure relate to container-image replication. One example includes a computing device that can generate a container image. The container image can include metadata that is consumable by a container engine for deploying a container with settings specified in the metadata. The computing device can also generate provenance data indicating at least one aspect related to the generation of the container image. The computing device can modify the metadata in the container image to include an indicator of the provenance data. The computing device can then store the container image and the provenance data in one or more repositories accessible to a client device. This may enable the client device to reproduce the container image at a future point in time.

  • Patent number: 10997166
Abstract: A system and method for structuring search results for attribute comparison are presented. A product selection from a user device is received. The product selection has a plurality of attributes associated with it. A plurality of adjustable sliders configured to allow the user to refine a search is generated and caused to be displayed in a user interface of the user device. One or more adjustments of the plurality of adjustable sliders is received. In response to the user to an adjustment made to a first adjustable slider of the plurality of adjustable sliders, an analysis of a networked database for search results that match values indicated by the plurality of adjustable sliders including the adjustment made to the first adjustable slider is performed. The search results are caused to be presented on the user interface displayed on the user device.

  • Patent number: 10949434
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for generating an identity resolution model from a ground truth data set to accurately match users across one or more digital content providers to perform analyses of user activities across the one or more digital content providers. For example, the systems described herein can generate a ground truth data set of known users and utilize the ground truth data set to generate an identity resolution model for one or more digital content providers based on predicted user identities. Furthermore, in one or more embodiments, the systems utilize the identity resolution model to accurately resolve and match user identities between one or more digital content providers and assign universal identifiers to the user identities. Moreover, the disclosed systems can utilize the universal identifiers to provide analytical insights of user actions between the one or more digital content providers.

  • Patent number: 10949385
Abstract: A hybrid file system provides access to files based on metadata-defined paths, user-defined paths, and/or hybrid metadata-defined paths. A metadata-defined path may be defined based on file metadata, and may provide access to files that are tagged with the same metadata that is used to specify the metadata-defined path. Some of the same files may be alternatively accessed using user-defined paths that provide access to the directories where the files are stored. Some of the same files may be alternatively accessed using a hybrid metadata-user-defined path that appends a directory structure to the metadata-defined path in order to provide direct access to a subset of files from the metadata-defined path that are placed into the metadata-user-defined path without accessing other files from the metadata-defined path.

  • Patent number: 10942907
Abstract: Techniques are described for closing one or more connections with a database management system (DBMS) as part of a planned operation such as maintenance and load balancing. In an embodiment, a request is received for a planned operation of a database server of a DBMS that requires releasing and migrating database sessions. Over a database connection with the database server, the DBMS or a Client-Driver on the client system that interfaces with the DBMS, may receive request(s) from the client system. Based on the request(s), a safe point, for the database connection with the database server, at which the database connection of the client system with the database server can be closed without affecting the success of execution of next one or more command that the client system intended to request the DBMS to execute on the database server, is determined.

  • Patent number: 10929459
Abstract: Content management server receives requests for geographically restricted domains and generates unique registrant identifiers responsive to the request based on the physical geographic location of the registrant and a related proximity condition. Each of the unique registrant identifiers identifying a registrant content server, and each of the registrant content servers storing content associated with the corresponding unique registrant identifier. The content management server receives queries from user devices, and the queries indicate a geographic location. The content management server identifies geographically relevant registrant content servers based on associated unique registrant identifiers relative to satisfied proximity conditions. • Patent number: 10922297
Abstract: A system for an in-memory row storage architecture can be provided. In some implementations, the system performs operations including processing a database statement comprising a first database transaction affecting one or more rows in an in-memory row store, registering the database statement at a start of execution of the database statement, the start of execution occurring at a first time, unregistering the registered database statement at an end of execution of the database statement, determining a second time at which execution of an oldest currently registered database statement was started, assigning a garbage collection thread to a second database transaction committed at a third time and affecting at least one row of the plurality of rows, and activating the garbage collection thread to reclaim memory within the in-memory row store when the third time is less than the second time. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

  • Patent number: 10915649
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for access control delegation. One example method includes identifying creation of a derived entity from an originating entity. A definition of the derived entity is modified to include an association to the originating entity. A derived access control definition is created based on an originating access control definition. Access control condition(s) in the derived access control definition are identified. Modified access control condition(s) are created by modifying column reference(s) to include a reference to the association to the originating entity. A query is received for the derived entity. A modified query is created by including, in the received query, the modified access control condition(s) and unfolding the association to the originating entity.

  • Patent number: 10896161
Abstract: Techniques of managing design iterations include generating data linking selected snapshot histories with contextual notes within a single presentation environment. A designer may generate a design iteration in a design environment. Once the design iteration is complete, the designer may show a snapshot of the design iteration to a stakeholder. The stakeholder then may provide written contextual notes within the design environment. The computer links the contextual notes to the snapshot and stores the snapshot and contextual notes in a database. When the designer generates a new design iteration from the previous design iteration and the contextual notes, the computer generates a new snapshot and a link to the previous snapshot to form a timeline of snapshots. The designer may then present the snapshots, the timeline, and the contextual notes to the stakeholder as a coherent history of how the design of the mobile app evolved to its present state.

  • Patent number: 10885127
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and a system where a processor(s) monitors communications between one or more clients to a query engine, to identify requests to execute queries on the database resource. Based on identifying a requested query, the processor(s) applies cognitive analysis algorithms to parse components of the requested query, to identify components in the requested query that indicate an execution success measure for the requested query. The processor(s) determines the execution success measure for the requested query and assigns an execution action to the requested query: pre-empting the requested query or executing the requested query. The processor(s) facilitates this action on the requested query.
