Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure set forth a method for retrieving information from a semantic database having a plurality of semantic data. The method includes selecting a hub that is resolved with a number of semantic data based on a resolution rule, when the number of the semantic data is greater than a threshold in an offline environment; calculating a semantic data set that is associated with the hub based on a searching approach and the resolution rule in the offline environment; indexing the semantic data set in the offline environment; modifying the semantic database to include the semantic data set in the offline environment; and retrieving information from the semantic data set in an online environment.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for enhancing and utilizing user data derived from digital interactions includes receiving a submission generated by input into a client side application interface by a first user on a first computing device, and determining, based on attributes of the submission, that the submission is in response to an issue-specific communication advertising information concerning a first issue, the issue-specific communication indicating a request for a financial transaction, and that that the financial transaction related to the issue-specific communication is requested. The method includes generating a first dataset associated with the first user, searching one or more additional datasets for additional data to be associated with data elements of the first dataset, associating the additional data from the one or more additional datasets with the first user, and generating a data model corresponding to the first user.

A modeling client can host modeling logic and an application programming interface (API) to create, access, manipulate, and import/export modeling objects used in modeling applications, such as engineering, medical, financial, and other modeling platforms. In aspects, the source data accepted into the modeling client can include consumer or business-level applications, whose spreadsheet, database or other content can be extracted and encapsulated in extensible markup language (XML) or other object-oriented format. Various model objects can be extracted from source data, and aggregated into a composite model object encapsulating the underlying set of component model objects. In aspects, each of the component model objects can be accessed, updated, and stored independently of the other constituent objects.

Abstract: Embodiments of the inventive concept can extract digital document information related with a specific individual to achieve a work load reduction associated with evidentiary material preparation for litigation. Recorded digital information can be displayed and user-specifying information can be set for each of a plurality of document files. The user-specifying information shows which user contained in user information one or more document files is related with. A recording unit can record the set user-specifying information. At least one user is selected, and a document file where user-specifying information which corresponds to the selected user was set is searched. Additional information showing whether or not the searched document file is related with the litigation is set via a display unit. A document file which is related with litigation is outputted based on the additional information.

Abstract: A system and method for collection of electronically stored information (ESI) from Windows based desktops and laptops is disclosed that are under the control of remote custodians. The system and method include an external persistent memory storage device and a software application tool that is loaded onto the persistent memory storage device. The external persistent memory storage device is connected to the computer system hosting the persistent memory storage device to be examined, for example, by way of a USB or Ethernet port. Once connected to the computer system hosting the persistent memory storage device to be examined, a Quick Start program, which, when opened, allows the required processing to be methodically performed. Documentation is provided for completing information regarding the chain of custody of the external persistent memory storage device. The documentation may be imprinted on a security receptacle for receiving the external persistent memory storage device.

Abstract: In a particular embodiment, a method of goal-oriented searching is disclosed that includes providing a graphical user interface including an input and a selectable indicator. The selectable indicator is related to a pre-defined query associated with a particular goal. The particular goal includes multiple criteria. The method also includes receiving data related to the input and inserting the data into the pre-defined query to produce a goal-oriented query to identify one or more documents that satisfy the multiple criteria.

Abstract: A system and method for improving performance of join operations is disclosed. The method in one embodiment includes building a graph of vertices and edges, which represent the tables and join conditions for a particular database schema. The method then traverses the graph to find a set of candidate join operations. The method further includes selecting from the set of subset of join operations that makes the best use of a given amount of memory, which means finding a collection of denormalizations which when residing in memory provide the most benefit and the least cost for the given amount of memory. The method then deploys the denormalizations so that current queries in a query processing system can use them instead of actually performing the joins.
