Abstract: Described herein are automated banking machine cassette modules and cassettes. The cassette module may include but is not limited to a divert cassette positioned for easy access and a light pipe system for detecting when sheets are entering or leaving a cassette. The cassette may include but Is not limited to a cassette with an ink staining that does not reduce the capacity of the cassette, a torsion spring assembly coupled with a push plate in a cassette, a thumper and feed wheel assembly, and a method of assembling a thumper and feed wheel assembly that provides for proper timing of the feed wheels with the thumper wheels.

Abstract: A rubbing alcohol dispenser apparatus for applying rubbing alcohol includes a casing having a casing dispense aperture and a thumb slot extending through to a casing inside. A cartridge housing has a housing dispense aperture and a pin slot extending through to a cartridge inside. The cartridge housing is slidably engageable within the casing inside. A dispense plunger and a lift plunger are coupled within the cartridge inside to manipulate a plurality of alcohol pads through a plurality of pad tracks towards the housing dispense aperture. The dispense plunger has a thumb pin extending through the pin slot and accessible through the thumb slot to reset the dispense plunger and allow the lift plunger to advance the plurality of alcohol pads. The housing dispense aperture aligns with the casing dispense aperture to release rubbing alcohol as needed.

Abstract: Implementations of a glove dispensing system may include a flexible bag having a sealed first end and a sealed second end, the sealed first end opposite the sealed second end, a first plurality of openings extending through the first sealed end, a second plurality of openings extending through the second sealed end, and a reclosable sealed opening extending through a sidewall of the flexible bag. A plurality of gloves may be included within the flexible bag. A cuff of a glove of the plurality of gloves may be exposed through the reclosable sealed opening when the reclosable sealed opening is in an open configuration. Implementations of a glove dispensing system may include a rack coupled to the flexible bag. The rack may include a plurality of springs configured to stretch the flexible bag between the sealed first end and the sealed second end of the flexible bag.

Abstract: Kiosks, components, and methods are disclosed for preparing food to be vended to customers. The kiosk may be part of a multi-modal food distribution system in which the kiosk may operate in one or more various modes, including a kiosk vending mode, a constellation mode, and a cook en route mode to vend hot, prepared food to customers. The kiosks in the system may be configurable to change between each of the different modes depending upon information received by the system. The kiosk may be part of a kiosk-based food preparation system in which the kiosk vends prepared food items to customers. The kiosk may transmit information that may be used to provide replenishment to the kiosk. Such information may include the number of items vended, the number of items and/or supplies remaining, and/or a replenishment signal.

Abstract: A medication management system, having a pill dispensing system having: a funnel having an open bottom end; a tube holder; a tube having: a hollow interior; means for securing the tube to the tube holder, such that a rotational movement of the tube holder causes a same rotational movement of the tube; a pill receiving hole facing upwards when the pill dispensing system is not actuated, and providing access to the hollow interior; wherein the open bottom end is aligned with the pill receiving hole when the pill dispensing system is not actuated, such that the pill receiving hole is configured to receive a pill, the pill dropping from the funnel into and housed within the hollow interior; and means for causing the rotational movement, such that the pill receiving hole faces downwards and thus dispenses the pill housed within the hollow interior out of the pill dispensing system.

Abstract: A storing and dispensing container includes a stack of moist wipes, a film pouch, and a rigid flip top that has a lid connected to a flange by a hinge. The flange is affixed to an outer surface of the pouch and surrounds a dispensing orifice. The flange can assume bent and unbent states. The flange has first and second hinges that each extend along a first bending axis, such than when a top wipe is extracted from the package through the dispensing orifice, the first bending axis is pulled away from the stack, and the flange bends about the first bending axis to assume the bent state. In particular embodiments, the hinges can be defined by areas of reduced flange thickness, reduced flange width, and/or reduced flange rigidity. The flange can include a plurality of strengthening ribs, and hinges can be defined by gaps in the ribs.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a dispensing assembly for dispensing articles, such as disposable gloves, and methods of manufacturing same. The dispensing assembly includes a container having a plurality of exterior panels. The exterior panels define an internal chamber and an dispenser opening on the container. The dispensing assembly also includes an article dispensing component housed within the internal chamber. The article dispensing component includes a first panel and a second panel configured together to form an article storage area. The article storage area is configured to receive a plurality of articles. In addition, the first panel is stationary and the second panel is biased towards the first panel via one or more flexible members. Further, the first and second panels include one or more aligned recesses configured to receive the one or more flexible members.

A distance between the inverse conical-shaped inclined inner surface of the cassette main body and the inclined outer surface of the tablet guide path can be adjusted by raising and lowering the rotor with respect to the cassette main body. A distance between a partitioning member and a tablet support table can be adjusted by raising and lowering the tablet support table provided on a lower side of the partitioning member. A distance between a first vertical protruding piece and a second vertical protruding piece constituting the tablet guide path can be adjusted by relatively rotating a first movable member and a second movable member.

Abstract: A food product storage and vending kiosk includes a cold storage unit, an oven unit, and a transportation mechanism. The cold storage unit includes a plurality of food packages, an active shelving system storing the plurality of food packages, and a freezer. Each of the food packages includes a food product in a box. The oven unit includes a base oven deck for receiving the food product and rising to meet and seal with a main body to form a sealed oven cavity for cooking the food product. The transportation mechanism is for moving a food package out of the cold storage unit, onto an elevator platform that lifts the food package to the oven unit, pushing the food product from the box onto the base oven deck for cooking, and pushing the food product off of the base oven deck into the box and out of a delivery chute.

Abstract: The present invention is for wipe dispensers for dispensing interconnected wipes. An exemplary wipes dispenser may include a container body and a removable lid forming an interior region into which a plurality of interconnected wipes may be disposed. Pulling on a lead end of a lead wipe causes a following wipe to also be pulled and follow the lead wipe. The removable lid may cover a portion of a container aperture (e.g., an open top of the container body). A landing member in the lid covers a portion of the container aperture by extending from a top rim of the container body toward the middle of the interior region. The landing member may form an angle with a substantially vertical exterior wall of the container, where the formed angle may be less than 90°. In an embodiment, the landing member may include a concavely shaped portion. The landing member may include one or more fingers.

The transfer device comprises a delivery conveyor that is configured to displace cartridges from the bulk of cartridges towards the outlet and to deliver the cartridges (2) to the outlet (11) via an orientation-discrimination passage (15) which ensures that the cartridges (2) are delivered one at the time to the outlet (11) and that each cartridge (2,2a) that is delivered to the outlet (11) is in the predetermined orientation at the outlet (11).

The dispensing means comprise support-marking means for marking each dispensed support at the moment of the dispensing thereof, the marking means and the impregnation means being automatically actuated during the dispensing process.

Abstract: A food product gathering and dispensing system is disclosed. The food product is generally a flat disc shaped article dispensed onto a consumable strip of food product conveyer material. The food product is fed to single, or series related, spools that wind up the consumable conveyer material and food product into a removable roll. The roll is placed into a dispenser pack, optionally subject to further environmental treatment, and refrigeration. The pack is then installed within a refrigerated dispenser system where the food product and consumable material are collectively unwound and separated, as the food product is fed into a processing system, i.e., a cooking device. The consumable conveyer material is collected and separately discarded.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dispensing sheets of material (e.g. tissues, wipes, towels, etc.) from a container or other suitable receptacle for storing the sheets of material for dispensing therefrom. The dispenser systems are integrated with storage and/or organizer, which are configured to be above, below, behind, or in front of a dispenser without affecting the dispensing function of the system. The dispensers can be used in a vertical position, capable of dispensing a sheet in a downward or upward direction when mounted on a wall, for example, or in a horizontal position, capable of dispensing a sheet sideways and/or popup direction. One of the advantages of these dispensers is that it allows a prior art flat top tissue box for use in a vertical position, i.e., standing up on its end, thereby taking even less horizontal space than the cubic tissue box.

At least a portion of the tissues are folded so as to include a leading edge contacting the upper surface of a center panel and a trailing edge contacting the bottom surface of the center panel. The tissues are interfolded such as to have a portion of the leading edge of a first, or preceding, tissue to overlap the leading edge of a second, or succeeding tissue. In this manner, the leading edge of the first tissue terminates at a first vertical axis and the leading edge of the second tissue terminates at a second vertical axis where there is a distance between the first and the second vertical axis that is greater than 0.

The dispensing opening is at an axial position between and spaced from the axial positions of the lower and upper axial end, wherein the entry side and/or the dispensing side include a plurality of elevated regions, which are arranged to define the concave shape.

Abstract: An article dispensing apparatus includes a carousel and an upper casing with a dispensing face including a dispensing orifice through which the articles are dispensed. The carousel includes plural holding sections for holding the articles to be dispensed and is rotationally movable. A controller controls application of a force to cause the carousel to rotate relative to the dispensing face when an instruction to dispense an article is received. When the carousel is moved so that one of its holding sections having an article therein is aligned with the dispensing orifice, the article is allowed to be dispensed therethrough. A locking mechanism selectively engages the carousel to prevent any relative movement of the carousel when the article dispensing unit is not mounted on the main housing and disengages from the carousel to allow intended relative movement when the article dispensing unit is mounted on the main housing.

The second gear is supported by the housing for rotation about a second axis and configured to engage the first gear. The first gear is operable to rotate the second gear in a first direction about the second axis. The biasing member is operable to rotate the second gear in a second direction about the second axis. The damper is operable to control a rate of rotation of the second gear in the second direction about the second axis. The second direction is opposite the first direction.
