Abstract: Integrating an application and a chat session includes a first user identifying content from the application, wherein the application is independent of any chat session, the first user initiating the chat session with at least a second user that is remote from the first user by transmitting the content from the first user to the second user, where the first and second user establish the chat session in response to the content being transmitted, and the first user and the second user sharing the content in connection with the chat session. The content may be a portion of a photograph, a portion of an image, a portion of text from a document, and/or a portion of a screen. The portion may be automatically identified following the user pointing and marking up the content. The first user may mark up the content before transmitting it to the second user.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for web conference recording correction is provided. The embodiment may include capturing a server-side recording of a web conference and a plurality of client-side recordings of the web conference. The embodiment may also include identifying one or more quality issues with the server-side recording. The embodiment may further include generating a reconstruction of the server-side recording that cures the one or more quality issues using one or more recordings within the plurality of client-side recordings.

Abstract: A network device ensures availability of content destination devices, and may receive a request to install a filter, and the request may include information identifying a set of content destination devices capable of receiving packets that match the filter, and priority values indicating priorities by which the set of content destination devices are to receive the packets. The network device may receive status indications indicating availabilities associated with the set of content destination devices, and may receive a packet destined for an endpoint device. The network device may generate a copy of the packet, and may determine that a packet feature matches the filter. The network device may select a particular content destination device, from the set of content destination devices, based on the priority values and the status indications, and may cause the copy of the packet to be forwarded to the particular content destination device.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for attentive listening in multiple contemporaneous meetings. The method identifies a set of keywords designated by a host of a meeting. Remarks in a set of sub-meetings of the meeting are monitored. One or more remarks of interest are identified which match one or more keywords within the remarks of a sub-meeting of the set of sub-meetings. Each sub-meeting has a meeting designation. The one or more remarks of interest are determined to exceed an interest threshold. The method presents the meeting designation and a remark indication to the host in response to determining the one or more remarks of interest exceed the interest threshold.

Abstract: Example techniques of addition of nodes in cloud networks managed by a multi-cloud management platform, are described. In an example, a node addition request is received at a multi-cloud management platform. The node addition request includes identification information of a node and a cloud network in which the node is to be added. The identification information is indicative of a functionality of the node, a network address of the node, and an identifier of the cloud network. Based on the identifier of the cloud network, cloud account details of the cloud network may be obtained from one of the multi-cloud management platform and a user input. A controller node of the cloud network may be accessed based on the cloud account details. The node may be registered at the controller node of the cloud network, based on the identification information of the node and the cloud network.

Abstract: In one aspect, an example methodology implementing the disclosed techniques can include, by a computing device, receiving a video stream from a first client device and, responsive to a determination that a second client device activated a downgrade feature and further responsive to a determination that a user of the first client device is not speaking, modifying the video stream to consume less resources. The method can also include, by the computing device, providing the modified video stream to the second client device.

The method acquires voices of at least three participants who attend a teleconference from each of individual conference terminals of the participants and generates voice data including volume information from the acquired voices. The method also acquires video of the participants during the teleconference from each individual conference terminal and generates video data. The method displays seating information indicating seatings associated with the participants in a virtual space for each of the conference terminals of the participants. The method determines a destination of the voice data of the participants for each of the conference terminals of the participants in accordance with the voice data and the video data of the participants as well as the seating information. The method transmits the voice data of the participants from the conference terminals of the participants to destinations determined for the voice data of the participants.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of performing a Web Real-Time Communication-based (WebRTC-based) communication and collaboration session with a plurality of predefined participants can include detecting that a participant from a plurality of predefined participants is addressed by another participant for answering a question or for submitting a comment during the communication and collaboration session; and verifying whether a presence status of the participant to answer the question or to submit a comment is required to be presented to the predefined participants. If it is verified that the presence status of the participant to answer the question or to submit a comment needs to be presented, a feature activation step of activating a feature for presenting presence information to the predefined participants can be utilized.

Abstract: A meeting application server and a method for real-time content of interest detection and notification for a meeting are described herein. The meeting application server includes a processor and a computer-readable storage medium operatively coupled to the processor. The computer-readable storage medium includes computer-executable instructions that cause the processor to receive, via a remote computing system, content of interest data for a meeting. The computer-executable instructions also cause the processor to analyze the content of interest data to determine a theme of interest for the meeting, train a classification model for the theme of interest, and generate real-time meeting data for the meeting. The computer-executable instructions further cause the processor to determine the probability that the real-time meeting data relate to the theme of interest using the classification model and, if the probability exceeds a threshold value, transmit a content of interest alert to the remote computing system.

Abstract: A flexible approach to segmenting a resource (e.g., a media resource, such as a media segment, or other resource, such as a resource normally fetched or pushed using general file transfer protocols like HTTP) into a plurality of fragments. By employing such an approach, the delay until the resource can be utilized at the client side is reduced. Certain embodiments are provided which apply the flexible segmentation approach to ISOBMFF media segments for video streaming, such as would be used with Live DASH streaming.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide for the dynamic adjustment of traffic associated with audiovisual conferences or other types of communication sessions in situations where a network connection of one or more conference participants exhibits issues that may affect audio and/or video quality. The adjustment may include the determination at a particular conference participant (e.g., a particular User Equipment (“UE”)) of degraded network conditions, the generation of condensed conference information at the UE, and the outputting of the condensed conference information via the network. The condensed conference information may be included in control signaling. The condensed conference information may be used to generate reconstructed conference information, which may be distributed to other conference participants.

Abstract: Systems and methods of determining a network performance property in at least one computer network, including: sampling traffic in active communication with the at least one computer network, analyzing the sampled traffic to group communication packets to flows, and predicting at least one network property of the at least one network based on the grouped communication packets and based on at least one traffic parameter in the at least one network, where the at least one traffic parameter is selected from the group consisting of: union of packet streams, intersection of packet streams, and differences of packet streams, and where the predicted at least one network property is selected from the group consisting of: total number of flows, number of flows with a predefined characteristic, number of packets, and volume of packets.

Abstract: A device receives network data associated with a network that includes network devices interconnected by links, and receives parameters associated with determining a network plan for the network. The device generates candidate links for each potential network plan of multiple potential network plans for the network, based on the parameters and based on a criterion associated with generating the candidate links. The device generates candidate paths for each potential network plan based on the parameters, and selects a portion of the candidate links and a portion of the candidate paths. The device generates each potential network plan based on the portion of the candidate links and the portion of the candidate paths, and identifies a potential network plan, of the multiple potential network plans, that reduces resource usage associated with operating the network. The device causes the potential network plan to be implemented in the network.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for providing a virtual conference using personal devices of the participants. In one embodiment, a proximity value is generated and encoded in audio streams from each device. A server can compare proximity values and enable a suitable microphone, while disabling the remaining microphones. Systems and techniques for improving capturing and synchronization of source audio and improved audio playback at destination are also disclosed.
