Abstract: Provided is an adjustable basketball training device that includes a weighted base portion to provide upright support to the device on a flat surface, a main leg portion connected at a first end thereof with the base portion and adjustable therefrom in a vertical direction, extension arm portions securely connected together, and connected with a second end of the main leg portion and extending in a horizontal direction, each having a sensor sensing physical contact of the user with each extension arm portion, start and stop operation switch portions connected to the second end of the main leg portion and an end of an extension arm portion opposite an end connected with another extension arm portion of the extension arm portions attached to the second end of the main leg portion, and a digital counter which counts a total number of times the user physically contacts each extension arm portion.

Abstract: A clamping system and method for allowing one-handed operation of a target clamp is described. The clamp may also be designed to be concealed and/or behind a structure such that portions of the clamp are not exposed to projectiles, thus protecting the clamp from sustaining damage.

Abstract: Reinforcement is used in the manufacture of shafts having multiple layers with multiple types of material in various combinations for the arrows, crossbow bolts, and sporting goods of the present invention. The reinforced shaft is a cylindrical tube made of a base material with a reinforcing layer applied to the cylindrical tube. In one embodiment, the reinforced shaft is a carbon fiber blank with a steel mesh used as the reinforcing layer. The reinforcing layer applied over the carbon fiber blank increases the overall strength of the shaft.

Abstract: A barrel of a ball bat may include a composite laminate with a plurality of composite plies. One or more translaminar elements may pass through the composite plies and around a circumference of the barrel to reduce relative movement between the plies. The translaminar elements may include a first line of stitching, which may include aramid fiber. In some embodiments, the first line of stitching forms two or more coils around the barrel. Lines of stitching may be positioned on opposing sides of a center of percussion of the ball bat. In some embodiments, the translaminar elements may include a line of staples distributed around the circumference of the barrel. A method of making a ball bat may include arranging plies of composite material to form a cylinder, passing a first translaminar element through the plies, and curing the assembly of plies to form a barrel of the ball bat.

Abstract: A football training device including a vest having a breast plate. A deformable corrective member having an elongate tubular-shaped shape, a proximal end and a distal end, is attached to breast plate and extends outwardly substantially perpendicular to the breast plate of the vest. The tubular-shaped member is positioned on the breast plate on a side of the breast plate that relates to the throwing hand of a user and is positioned at a height on the breast plate that alerts a user of a low football takeaway from a neutral position to a loaded football ball position. A restraining device is removably attached to the vest. The restraining device is positioned on a side of the vest that relates to the non-throwing hand of the user to urge the non-throwing hand of the user to remain close to the breast plate during a throwing motion of the throwing hand.

Abstract: A method for providing outcome variation for grid based number selection games is disclosed. The method allows novel interactions with random populations of numbers referenced on a grid which can be implemented as enhancements to existing grid based number selection games or as a standalone game, where the interaction involves placing one or more bets to predict the occurrences of combinations of a defined configuration that can be formed on a grid using a random number population. These bets can be implemented as side bets for an existing game in order to introduce new player strategies and reward options without disrupting the mechanics of the underlying game.

Abstract: A target projectile tossing game including a frame, a horizontal support connected to the frame, and a target coupled to the horizontal support. The target may be sized to receive the projectile therein and may further be configured to rotate relative to the frame based on force from the tossed projectile.

Abstract: A system and method of correcting the trajectory of a hunting arrow is disclosed and described. The arrow can include a compensator coupled to a shaft of the arrow and the compensator has diameter that is larger than a diameter of the shaft of the arrow. A thickness of the compensator, which is measured as the difference in the diameter of the compensator and the diameter of the shaft of the arrow, is configured to enable a user to aim the arrow with a bow that has been sighted for a standard arrow.

Abstract: A Bluetooth chip designed to track proximity and play a sound, along with an accelerometer, that is embedded inside of a golf ball is disclosed. The technology inside the balls allows it to be found quickly through proximity and sound, and the app gives a golfer helpful analytical data.

Abstract: A soccer training system may include one or more rebound units, including: a base; at least one rebound surface and at least one tunnel having a tunnel inlet and a tunnel outlet, the tunnel has a cross section larger than a soccer ball. The shape of the tunnel may be such that when the base is placed on the ground a soccer ball entering the inlet is directed towards the outlet. The system may further include one or more defense player simulation devices, including a stable body to be placed on a field; and at least one adjustable indicator located on the stable body. In operation the at least one adjustable indicator may be configured to provide game instructions to a user. The system may further include a controller configured to: control the at least one adjustable indicator to provide the game instructions to the user.

The first and second face plates have first and second outer surfaces, respectively. The head portion can include first and second face plates having first and second outer surfaces, respectively, and the handle portion can include a grip. Abstract: A multimedia crossbar system for goal posts of different spots. The system includes a goal frame, a net, a rear net frame, a multimedia bar, and a transparent display screen. The goal frame includes a front crossbar, a first post, and a second post to yield a U-shape. The rear net frame holds up the net behind the goal frame and includes a rear crossbar, a first rear post, and a second rear post. The multimedia bar includes a support bar, a plurality of lights, a plurality of speakers, and a plurality of sponsor display panels for audiovisual entertainment around the goal frame. The support bar is mounted to the rear crossbar and support the lights, speakers, and the sponsor display panels. The transparent display screen provides another visual medium for advertisement and other similar content. The transparent display screen is positioned and perimetrically connected within the rear net frame.

Abstract: A golf club head includes a forward section and a body section to define a closed internal volume. The forward section has a strike face, a frame that surrounds the strike face, and a flange extending from the frame. The body section is formed from a molded polymeric material, and includes a forward edge that defines a receiving portion adapted to receive the flange and a weight receiving feature spaced apart from the forward edge. The body section further includes a reinforcing structure protruding into the internal volume and extending between the weight receiving feature and the forward edge.
