  • Patent number: 8149805
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method, system and device for optimizing routing in a mobile IPv6. The core is that the communication between a mobile node and a correspondence node is performed in a routing optimization mode, while providing a secure verification, so that the care-of address of the mobile node would not be obtained by a distrustful third party or a distrustful correspondence node. Moreover, to further ensure the privacy of the location of the mobile node, the current care-of address of the mobile node is shielded from the correspondence node by separating the binding cache from the correspondence node.

  • Patent number: 8144655
Abstract: A method for scheduling broadcast messages to transmit system information is disclosed. This method for scheduling broadcast messages having system information classifies a plurality of system information into one or more groups. For example, the system information may be control information for a network entry and initialization of a mobile station, or a burst profile. Then, the scheduling method allocates different numbers of transmission times to the individual groups, and determines transmission start times of system information of the individual groups according to the allocated transmission times.

  • Patent number: 8139549
Abstract: A method of scheduling an uplink packet transmission channel in a mobile communication system is disclosed. The method of scheduling includes determining a scope of user equipments (UEs) to be applied to a scheduling assignment for scheduling the uplink packet transmission channel, and transmitting the scheduling assignment to the user equipments included in the determined scope, wherein the scheduling assignment includes an identifier for identifying the scope of the user equipments and scheduling contents for carrying information applicable to the scheduling assignment.

  • Patent number: 8134965
Abstract: A method of transmitting and receiving data using a superframe structure is disclosed. A method for transmitting data through a superframe including a superframe header, includes generating the superframe which includes a data region including user data and includes a dedicated control region including data region allocation information indicating resource allocation for the data region, and transmitting the superframe. The dedicated control region is arranged at at least one of locations except for a subframe of the superframe header. A user equipment which does not have to transmit and receive data decodes only data region allocation information using information of the data region indicated by a dedicated control region, thereby minimizing power loss, reducing a feedback delay, and reducing system overhead using a superframe structure.

  • Patent number: 8102828
Abstract: A method and a system for establishing a tunnel in a wireless local area network (WLAN) are described. The method includes the following steps. A WLAN terminal initiates a tunnel establishment request in an Internet Key Exchange Security Association (IKE SA) that has been established. It is judged whether the number of tunnels already established in the IKE SA reaches a corresponding first threshold or not, if the number of tunnels does not reach the corresponding first threshold, establishing the tunnel for the WLAN terminal; otherwise, rejecting the establishment of the tunnel for the WALN terminal. It is decided whether to establish the tunnel for the WLAN terminal or not by judging whether the number of the tunnels already established in each IKE SA reaches the corresponding threshold or not during the tunnel establishment of the WLAN terminal, thereby effectively controlling the rationality and validity about the tunnel establishment.

  • Patent number: 6971162
Abstract: An exemplary system and method for providing differential adjustment of the height of a multilayer substrate in localized areas for improved Q-factor performance of RF devices is disclosed as comprising inter alia: a multilayer substrate (200); an RF component (210) embedded in the substrate (200); a surface mounted component (220); and an RF shield (260) disposed next to the surface mounted component (220), wherein the height of the shield (260) does not extend substantially beyond the height of the surface mounted component (220). Disclosed features and specifications may be variously controlled, configured, adapted or otherwise optionally modified to further improve or otherwise optimize Q, RF performance and/or material characteristics.

  • Patent number: 6760969
Abstract: A method for connecting electrical components is provided. The method includes electrically connecting electrodes on two separate substrates with an anisotropic electroconductive adhesive layer. The thickness of the electroconductive adhesive layer prior to connection (X) is given by: 0.5×{(A1C1+A2C2)/(B+C)}≦X≦2×{(A1C1+A2C2)/(B+C)} where: A1 is a height of electrodes on a first substrate, B1 is a width of the electrodes on the first substrate and C1 is a width of an interelectrode space between the electrodes on the first substrate; A2 is a height of electrodes on a second substrate, B2 is a width of the electrodes on the second substrate and C2 is a width of an interelectrode space between the electrodes on the second substrate; and B+C=B1+C1=B2+C2.
