Abstract: A system, method, and corresponding computer program product facilitates trading of a standardized contract. The terms of the contract may be such that it provides a payout from one party to the other based on the price, yield, level or other measure of an asset, basket, index, financial contract, other financial instrument or some economically significant variable observed at or around two specified times, both such times being after the time that the standardized contract is first available for trading. Alternatively, the terms of the contract may be such that it provides that one party has the right but not the obligation either to purchase or to sell some asset at a price which is determined at a first specified time, such right to be exercised at some time not later than the second specified time, both such times being after the time that the standardized contract is first available for trading. These and other related contracts are described.

Abstract: In general, embodiments of the invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for predicting population migration and analyzing migration-affecting programs. For example, an apparatus is provided having a memory device with population information and a plurality of migration factors stored therein. The population information includes information about population distribution across a plurality of classifications. Each of the plurality of migration factors corresponds to a particular classification of the plurality of classifications and indicates how population members of the particular classification migrate to other classifications over a particular time period. The apparatus also includes a processor communicably coupled to the memory device and configured to use the migration factors and the population information to forecast changes in the population distribution across each of the plurality of classifications over multiple time periods.

Abstract: A method includes receiving an authorization request for a purchase transaction, and determining whether the authorization request arose from proximity-reading a proximity payment device. The method further includes mapping a first account number included in the authorization request into a second account number associated with the first account number if it is determined that the authorization request arose from proximity-reading a proximity payment device and if the first account number is qualified for mapping. In addition, the method includes transmitting the authorization request to an issuer financial institution with the second account number substituted for the first account number in the authorization request.

The synthetic spread order may have at least one child hedge order pending at an electronic exchange and in response, a bracket order is submitted to an electronic exchange for the tradeable object associated with a filled leg of the synthetic spread. In response to execution of the bracket order, the child hedge order may be cancelled.

Abstract: Provided is a method and system for payment processing, including emailing a billing statement to a payer by a biller, the billing statement including an online payment hyperlink having a shortened URL personalized for the payer and a token uniquely identifying the payer. The payer may select the online payment hyperlink, at which point they are presented with the biller's online payment form without the payer logging in or preregistering. The online payment form includes data fields pre-populated with available payer information derived from the personalized shortened URL and token, which may be reviewed, completed and/or corrected by the payer and sent to a secure payment form server. Also provided is the use of Quick response (QR) codes incorporating the shortened URL in a printed format, particularly for use with a mobile communication device.

Abstract: A method for performing payments in remote transactions between buyer and vendor is provided. The method includes receiving buyer information from a vendor's network outlet when the buyer indicates a desire to purchase a selection at a later time through an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) center; providing a token to the buyer; receiving information about the token from the buyer through the IVR center; verifying the information about the token; transferring funds from a buyer account to a vendor account. Also provided is a system for processing payments in remote transactions including an IVR center and a server to: receive a request for token from a buyer to purchase products from a vendor, and to receive information about the product; provide the token to the buyer; access a database, the database including information from vendor's and buyer's accounts; transfer funds from buyer's account to vendor's account upon buyer confirmation.

The centralized repository can be accessible to a compliance monitor and a mortgagee. The mortgagee records borrower loan information into the centralized repository using the LOS. The compliance monitor retrieves borrower loan information using the LOS. The compliance monitor audits borrower loan information for regulatory compliance. The compliance monitor reports audit results to the mortgagee.

Abstract: In various embodiments, financial calculators with improved data security and data integration, collecting, managing and sharing data generated by a user are described. Selected financial data is accessed and shared with various financial tools in a centralized data store to provide a faster, easier calculator with fewer inputs. In one embodiment, a retirement calculator advises a user on how much to save in a corporate retirement plan, IRA and other investments, and the priority order in which to save. In another embodiment, a college savings calculator is disclosed that pre-fills anticipated college costs when a user selects a college.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for generating revenue by a telecom company and sharing the generated revenue with a subscriber. The telecom company acquires advertisements from one or more of a plurality of advertisers. The advertisements comprise advertisement tunes, text messages, audio messages, or video messages. The telecom company acquires permission from the subscriber for inserting advertisements in phone calls and messaging service messages of the subscriber. The advertisements may be inserted during one of initiation, active state, engaged state and termination of the phone call. Further, the advertisements are inserted at the beginning or the end of the messaging service messages of the subscriber. The revenue generated from advertising by the telecom company is shared with the subscriber through discounts on call charges or through payments of predetermined amount to the subscriber.

One example graphical interface includes a data structure comprising a plurality of data nodes and at least one risk data point associated with each node, and further comprises a display grid. The display grid includes one or more cells that are used for displaying selected data nodes and risk data points. Each cell may be associated with a single data node, and may include one or more identifiers corresponding to risk data points of the data node. In one example embodiment, the identifiers are aligned along a single axis, and risk related data corresponding to each identifier is aligned with respect to each corresponding identifier.

The terms include a payment amount and a settlement date. Messages are exchanged between the buyer and the seller that include an offer and acceptance of new terms for payment at other than the established terms. The new terms include an adjusted amount of payment to be made at a particular time after an event associated with the transaction. An electronic notification that the event has occurred is received, and the after the notification, payment between the buyer and seller is effected under the new terms.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention broadly contemplate systems, methods, apparatuses and program products that leverage the mobile web, especially the spoken (telecom) web, to handle transactions. According to embodiments of the invention, in essence, a mobile device such as a phone is used as a terminal, remote authentication is employed, and a challenge response using a per transaction audio based code is used as a confirmation. Embodiments of the invention also provide further protection against repudiation, and greater trust in the transaction, by employing witnesses.
