Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed that transmits a plug-in module to a web browser of a client computer. The web browser displays web content in a main window. The plug-in module, when activated, causes the web browser to display a user interface to a user of the client computer. The user interface is separate from the main window of the web browser, displays at least a portion of the web content, and is configured to enable the user to operate on the displayed at least a portion of the web content.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatus, and methods for managing user reviews of publications within an online user network. Various user interfaces may provide access to view a publication and request a review thereof, solicit and receive reviewing information from the requesting or another user (or multiple users), and provide access to a review generated from the received reviewing information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a personalized lobby interface based on contest attributes and user attributes for one or more users of a contest management system. The contest management system can generate, execute and maintain a plurality of contests, such as but not limited to, fantasy sports contests. Further, the contest management system can maintain a plurality of user profiles with each of the user profiles associated with at least one user. To provide content and/or recommendations to one or user profiles, the contest management system can create one or more personalized lobbies for each of the user profiles. The personalized lobbies can display one or more contests selected by the contest management system that a user associated with the respective user profile may be interested in based in part on their respective profile attributes and/or contest history.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems and methods that identify activities for which scripts can be built to perform an activity when requested by a user. The scripts can be voice-activated by a defined customized voice command and can include delivery preferences. The user's identity can be verified by analyzing voice biometrics of the customized voice command. After performance of the activity, results can be delivered to the device in the format indicated in the script.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques of pushing information associated with the at least one location that is associated with a video. The disclosed techniques comprises obtaining video data, wherein the video data comprise a plurality frames of a video and information associated with the video; determining at least one location associated with at least one frame among the plurality of frames of the video based on comparing the video data with data included in a database; determining information associated with the at least one location; and pushing the information associated with the at least one location to a first computing device based on a time point of playing the at least one frame among the plurality of frames of the video.

Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide an inside view that includes the physical layout and geometry of the venue's structure as well as the location, structure and layout of points of interest (e.g., stores, security check points, restrooms) within the venue. The views become more detailed as the user zooms into the venue to reveal points of interest and to give the user a feel for traversing the venue.

The embodiments of this application implement the function of adjusting a virtual item of a virtual object only through a slide operation. Therefore, the operation simpler and more efficient.

Abstract: Methods and devices for minimizing and maximizing displayed output associated with applications are provided. More particularly, an application presented across two or more screens of a device in a landscape mode can be minimized to present portion of the application in one of the screens. With respect to a maximization operation received with respect to a page of an application results in the expansion of the displayed portion of the application to multiple screens of the device. Input to effect minimization and maximization operations can be entered in one or more gesture capture regions associated with the screens.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining proximity information for each of a plurality of assistant-enabled devices within an environment of a user device. Each assistant-enabled device is controllable by an assistant application to perform a respective set of available actions associated with the assistant-enabled device. For each assistant-enabled device, the method also includes determining a proximity score based on the proximity information indicating a proximity estimation of the corresponding assistant-enabled device relative to the user device. The method further includes generating, using the proximity scores determined for the assistant-enabled devices, a ranked list of candidate assistant-enabled devices, and for each corresponding assistant-enabled device in the ranked list, displaying, in a graphical user interface (GUI), a respective set of controls for performing the respective set of actions associated with the corresponding assistant-enabled device.

Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can perform multi-display alignment through observed user interactions. The computing device can receive user input aligning a first alignment object on a first display device with a second alignment object on a second display device. The computing device can align the display buffers for each display device based on the positions of the alignment objects in each display buffer corresponding to each display device. The computing device can align display buffers based on observed movements of graphical objects between multiple display devices. When display buffers corresponding to the display devices are misaligned, the user may correct the path of a graphical object when moving the graphical object between display devices. The computing device can detect the correction and align the display buffers of the display devices so that graphical objects are presented at the appropriate locations when moved between the display devices.

Abstract: An item page may be displayed on a client device in response to a request to view an item page from the client device. They item page may include a description of the item. An icon may be generated and the icon may be displayed within a portion of the displayed item page at an icon location. A plurality of selectable actions each being performable with respect to the item described by the item page may be generated and displayed in response to an initial gesture being performed at the icon location for at least a pre-defined threshold duration. Lastly, the plurality of selectable actions may be displayed around the generated icon and within a pre-defined distance from the icon location of the generated icon.
