  • Patent number: 11157940
Abstract: The systems and methods described herein disclose providing compensation for data transmission during a refill event. As described here, a vehicle collects operation data sets during movement in the vehicular environment. Vehicles can then transfer one or more of the operation data sets during the refill of the collecting vehicle. Thus, operator can determine the desirability and value of trading the upload time for compensation. The systems and methods can include detecting a refill event for a collecting vehicle. A data analysis can then be received for one or more operation data sets produced by the collecting vehicle. A data value can then be determined from the data analysis, with the operator determining transfer one or more operation data sets from the collecting vehicle during the refill event. Once received, compensation can be provided to the collecting vehicle for the received operation data sets based on the data value.

  • Patent number: 11080764
Abstract: A bid management system generates estimated performance metrics at the bid unit level to facilitate bid optimization. The bid management system includes a hierarchical feature selection and prediction approach. Feature selection is performed by aggregating historical performance metrics to a higher hierarchical level and testing features for statistical significance. Features for which a significance level satisfies a significance threshold are selected for prediction analysis. The prediction analysis uses a statistical model based on selected features to generate estimated performance metrics at the bid unit level.

  • Patent number: 10878461
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and an apparatus. The apparatus includes interface circuitry and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry obtains attribute information of multimedia information associated with a multimedia provider. The attribute information includes website information of a website used to display the multimedia information and identifier (ID) information associated with the multimedia information. The processing circuitry generates a machine-readable identification code to be scanned by a user device of a user based on at least the website information. Based on the ID information, the processing circuitry obtains a first image corresponding to the multimedia information. The processing circuitry determines an image area in the first image in which the machine-readable identification code is to be inserted. The processing circuitry inserts the machine-readable identification code into the image area to generate a second image.

  • Patent number: 10733638
Abstract: An online system receives tracking requests from client devices interacting with a web page to analyze user interactions with the web page. The online system extracts parameters from tracking requests such as a uniform resource locator (URL) associated with the web page that generated the tracking request and/or data tokens describing keywords within the URL. The online system may extract parameters by crawling web pages that generate tracking requests. The online system may compare extracted parameters to a taxonomy of categories maintained by the online system to determine a category describing the item displayed on the web page. The online system determines a category describing the item via an item catalog maintained by the online system comprised of previously determined categories for various items. The online system uses the determined categories, attributes, and temporal relevance scores to direct content to users.
