Abstract: The method and system allow a user to launch a client application on an web-enabled device and subsequently to navigate to an image source screen within the client application. After receiving an image source selection from the user, the client application retrieves images from the selected image source. The client application displays the retrieved images available for printing to a user, and in response to receiving a selection of an image, the client application transmits the image to a proprietary server. Moreover, upon receiving print order information, the client application additionally executes a location awareness application that determines a current location of the web-enabled device and subsequently, determines a proximal retail store to the current location of the web-enabled device. Thereafter, the remote printing system creates and transmits a print order that includes the selected image to the retail store for pickup.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus wirelessly communicates with an information processing apparatus without passing through an access point, provides a print service in which predetermined printing is performed in response to a print request from the information processing apparatus via a wireless communication unit, and enables a setting that is used for providing the print service if the setting is disabled when the information processing apparatus establishes communication with the image processing apparatus via the wireless communication unit.

Upon receipt of the request, a release code is created to authorize printing of the content when provided at the printer, and job information for the request and data associating the information with the code are stored in memory. The code, and a network address to connect the requestor system to a web site hosted by a payment validation computer system, are sent to the requestor system via the network. The code is received from the validation system, the code previously provided to the validation system by the requestor system. The job information is sent to the validation system. Abstract: The present invention provides an image reader apparatus capable of obtaining an image having stable brightness while suppressing an increase of the cost of the apparatus. The first data includes state data describing a state of a printer application as accessed and viewable by a user at the first printer. The first data additionally includes content to be edited via the application. The computing device is additionally configured to enable a user utilizing the application to perform an editing function not available at the first printer. Edited content, that is the result of user editing of the content at the device via the application, is received from the device. In order to make the engine CPU perform second processing, the main CPU sets the level of the signal line at a second level. The engine CPU determines on the basis of the level of the signal line after the output of the return request which processing is to perform, the first processing or the second processing.
