    Abstract: A mobile device configured for currency exchange enables a user to electronically cause funds in a first pre-established account and denominated in a first currency to be sent to a first transaction machine to purchase funds denominated in a second currency. The created second account includes the purchased funds denominated in the second currency. Accordingly, the user is enabled, subsequent to the first transaction, to select a second account module in the mobile device that has since been configured with the received second account information of the created second account. The user can thereafter cause the mobile device to send that second account information to a second, different transaction machine to perform a second transaction in the second currency. In various cases, the set of interlaced frames can respectively correspond to a set of portions of an electronic QR code, such that different frames from the set of interlaced frames depict different portions from the set of portions of the electronic QR code. In various aspects, the first electronic instruction can further cause the mobile device to sequentially render, at the determined frame rate, the set of interlaced frames on an electronic display of the mobile device.

The pickup and completion of the account holder's requested transaction occurs at a lockbox location that has a plurality of lockboxes. The lockbox allows the account holder to access the facility at the account holder's leisure, both in time and location. The lockbox pickup service alleviates the uncertainty, fluctuating time cost, and inconvenient operating hours by allowing the account holder to request transactions with an easy to use interface resulting in a lockbox to be accordingly prepared so that the account holder can provide the proper authentication information and access the lockbox.

The ATM and the smart glasses device may be edge nodes on an edge network. An edge platform may use a fraud detection model to classify the image and compare it to stored ATM images. The model may be trained at an enterprise server and stored on the edge platform. In response to a determination of fraud at the edge platform, a fraud alert may be transmitted to the smart glasses device during the ATM session. Edge computing reduces latency to enable real-time smart glasses alerts. The smart glasses device may communicate the fraud alert to other smart glasses devices on the edge network.
