Abstract: Systems and methods consistent with the present invention generate a model for providing one or more scores indicating a likelihood that a stated income is faulty. In one embodiment, the method includes, for example, receiving information representative of at least one borrower; receiving a first income value for the at least one borrower; and receiving a second value for the at least one borrower, such that the second income value verifies the first income value. Moreover, the method includes determining one or more parameters for the model based on the received information, the received first income value, and the received second income value, such that the one or more parameters enable the model to provide the one or more scores.

An identifying code for advertisers (IFA) may be obtained via the operating system (OS) of the computer. A first application configuring the computer may include instructions to initiate an ad call comprising a request including the IFA to cause the first application to render an advertisement received by the computing device from a first web resource in response to the ad call. The web browser may execute the script to configure the web browser with a durable id (DID). The web browser may also communicate the DID to associate the IFA with the computing device.

Abstract: An online system receives multiple candidate components for including in content items to be presented to online system users. Upon identifying an opportunity to present content to a subject user of the online system, the online system dynamically generates an optimal content item for presentation to the subject user that includes one or more candidate components. Candidate components included in the optimal content item are associated with a predicted marginal effect on a performance metric associated the optimal content item. This marginal effect may be predicted using a machine-learned model that is trained using historical performance information about content items that were presented to viewing users of the online system having at least a threshold measure of similarity to the subject user and one or more features associated with candidate components included in these content items and in the optimal content item.
