Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method are disclosed with one or more stacked wild symbols which when appearing, trigger one or more re-spins wherein stacked wild symbols are locked in place for at least one re-spin. Awards are paid following each game outcome. In the event that a portion of a stacked wild symbol is displayed as part of a game outcome, the associated reel may nudge upward or downward to shift the entire stacked wild symbol into view, awards are then paid on the winning outcomes, and one or more re-spins may ensue with any displayed stacked wild symbols being locked for at least one subsequent re-spin.
Abstract: A method of managing bets is provided. The method includes receiving win bets and group bets. Each win bet includes a bet that a participant selected from a set of participants in an event will win the event. Each group bet includes a bet that one of a subset of the set of participants will win the event. Results of the event identifying a winning participant from the set of participants are received. An amount of a win bet payout for at least a portion of the win bets that comprise a bet on the winning participant is determined. An amount of a group bet payout for at least one of the group bets is also determined. In this manner, a bettor may bet on all participants in an event other than a particular participant, such as the favorite participant, and thus effectively bet against the particular participant.

Abstract: A method executed by a game service platform server for searching game challenge opponents includes receiving a game challenge opponent request generated according to a motion of the first terminal, receiving a first desired distance and a first position of the first terminal, searching for a second terminal within the first desired distance based on a second position received from a second terminal, receiving a second desired distance from the second terminal, determining whether the first terminal is located within the second desired distance based on the first position, and setting the searched second terminal to be a game challenge opponent candidate and providing user information of the searched second terminal to the first terminal when the first terminal is determined as being located within the second desired distance, in which the first and the second terminals execute a game service platform and providing the game challenge opponent candidate.
Abstract: A gaming system displays a plurality of spaced-apart selections each associated with a masked award. One or more selectors are each associated with one or more players, and are visible to each player. The selectors are moveable amongst the spaced-apart selections based on a plurality of player inputs. For a play of the game, the players provide inputs to move the selectors amongst the spaced-apart selections. During such movement, the gaming system temporarily reveals the award associated with any spaced-apart selection in the vicinity of any selector to at least one player, such as the player whose selector is near the selection. After the play of the game has ended (e.g., based on an amount of elapsed time), the gaming system provides awards to the players based on the ending positions of the one or more selectors with respect to the plurality of spaced-apart selections.
Abstract: The invention concerns a method of measuring at least one time or an elapsed period of a competitor in a sports competition via a transponder module which is personal to the competitor and accompanies the competitor throughout the competition in a measuring system. The personalized transponder module is activated at the start of the competition or in intermediate positions or at the finish line of the competition (6). Detection of at least one variation in motion or vibration level is effected by a motion sensor (11) integrated in the transponder module. The transponder module transmits data related to the detection effected by the motion sensor on the competition route or in intermediate positions or at the finish line of the competition, to a decoder unit (4) of the measuring system to check a time or elapsed period related to the detection of the competitor's motion sensor.
Abstract: A system and method for incentivizing users to alter virtual item balances in an online game are disclosed. The incentives may include rewards for users to reach balance goals. The balance goals may specify target balances of virtual items to be reached in user inventories, and a time by which such target balances must be reached in order for the users to receive a reward. Such target balance may include minimum or maximum balances levels, a range of absolute balance levels, a change in the current balance levels of virtual items in the user inventories and/or any other target balances. Determinations whether a given user has reached such target balance in accordance with a balance goal may be made at or before the time specified in the balance goal.

Abstract: The gaming system and method disclosed herein provides a plurality of symbol combinations that are each associated with a dynamic award. Such dynamic awards increase based, at least in part, on one or more random events which occur in association with one or more plays of a game. In one embodiment, the gaming system increases the dynamic award of a designated symbol combination based on the random generation of another, different symbol combination. In this embodiment, if the gaming system randomly generates the other symbol combination, the gaming system: (i) provides any award associated with this other symbol combination, and (ii) increases the dynamic award of the designated symbol combination. Additionally, if the gaming system randomly generates the designated symbol combination, the gaming system provides to a player the dynamic award of the designated symbol combination.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing wagering games associated with Baccarat, including modified versions of Baccarat described herein, which are configured for receiving and determining the outcome of the wager for the associated game based on the satisfaction of at least one of the following: the banker hand score being four; the banker hand score being six and having three playing cards in the banker hand; and the banker hand score and player hand score both being six and both the player hand and banker hand having three playing cards; and the banker hand score being eight and both the banker hand and the player hand having three playing cards.
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide gaming systems and methods providing casual games with dynamic award schemes. Each game has a designated number of elements. For each play of the wagering game, the gaming system: determines a number of the designated number of elements that will be as payout elements; determines which of the designated number of elements to make the payout elements; and for each payout element, determines the payout value associated with that payout element. The gaming system enables the player to play the wagering game in accordance with predetermined rules of the wagering game, which includes enabling the player to employ the elements until a game ending condition occurs. If a payout element is employed in that play of the wagering game in a designated manner, the gaming system provides the player the associated payout value.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a casino system has a server and a kiosk that receives, from a user, a voucher/player card having an associated monetary value and dispenses, to the user, a portion of the monetary value in paper currency, while the network converts the remainder of the monetary value to player points associated with the user. The kiosk may enable the user to select the portion of the monetary value to convert to player points and/or the portion of the monetary value to receive in paper currency, where the rate of converting monetary value to player points may increase as the selected portion of monetary value increases. Alternatively, the network may automatically select the portion to dispense in paper currency and the portion to convert to player points based on the smallest denomination of paper currency available to be dispensed by the kiosk.
