  • Patent number: 11979025
Abstract: A dual-mode combined control method for a multi-inverter system based on a double split transformer is provided. For an extremely-weak grid, the method provides the dual-mode combined control method for a multi-inverter system based on a double split transformer. According to the method, the equivalent grid impedance at a point of common coupling (PCC) of one grid-connected inverter (GCI) in the multi-inverter system based on the double split transformer is obtained with a grid impedance identification algorithm, and the system sequentially operates in a full current source mode, a hybrid mode, and a full voltage source mode according to a gradually increasing equivalent grid impedance, thereby effectively improving the stability of the multi-inverter system based on the double split transformer during variation of the strength of the grid. The method ensures that the system can still operate stably in the extremely-weak grid.

  • Patent number: 7193349
Abstract: An electric motor, in particular a motor and gear box unit for activating functional equipment in a vehicle, includes a rotor shaft carrying a commutator co-operating with conductive brushes disposed in brush supports fixed to a printed circuit card; the motor is provided with means for enabling brush supports to be fixed to the printed circuit card solely by surface mounting. These means may comprise, for each brush, a metal casing containing the brush and having one wall with at least one transverse tab adapted to pass through the printed circuit card in order to position and hold the casing on the card and in order to provide an electrical connection. The invention enables brush-support devices to be fixed to the printed circuit card solely by surface mounting, thus making it pointless to perform an additional flow soldering operation as is required in the prior art.

  • Patent number: 7141908
Abstract: In a rotating electrical machine a stator winding is formed of flexible cables inserted in an open stator in the stator core. The stator slots extend from a radially outermost yoke part of the stator core radially inwards towards the rotor, the stator slots being separated by teeth. The stator slots are shaped as double slots with shoulders arranged in the slot walls such that each cable in the winding is secured between the previous cable in the stator slot and, seen from the slot opening, the next shoulder situated outside that particular cable. In a method for manufacturing such a winding the first cable is inserted through the opening of the stator slot and pressed firmly into a cable slot arranged at the bottom of the stator slot and designed to retain the cable when it has been pressed in.

  • Patent number: 7091644
Abstract: A sequentially joined segment armature coil is provided which may be employed in an ac machine such as an ac motor or motor generator. The armature coil is equipped with three phase coils each of which is made up of a first and a second phase windings identical in number of turns. This structure permits the number of turns of the armature coil to be changed easily by changing a connection of the first and second phase winding between a series connection and a parallel connection or changing a connection of the phase coils between a star connection and a delta connection. The structure also enables terminal leads of the first and second phase windings of each of the phase coils to be collected and withdrawn outside the ac machine, thus facilitating ease of arrangement of the terminal leads.
