Abstract: A mobile application (“app”) enabling a shopper to identify an item or items that the user wishes to locate or purchase. The device displays a list of stores which stock the item(s), and a user is then provided with in-store guidance enabling the shopper to find the item or items that the user wishes to locate or purchase. A user can identify an item or items by scanning a product bar code, scanning a product label; capturing an image of a product, or typing a product name in a search field. The method further includes identifying stores that stock the item. Items can be added to an accumulative shopping list, and items may be ordered online if not available nearby. The system provides basic navigation to store(s) carrying the item(s). Once at a store, an interior route to a product is portrayed through an overhead view map of a store layout. Once near a product, a user may be shown a virtual display of a shelf with the vertical or height placement of the product on the nearby shelf.

Abstract: The Bidding on an Asset in Progress (BAIP) system allows live, real-time bidding on a work (song, artwork, invention, story, concept, etc.) during its inception and evolution. The system captures video and/or audio of the work and/or artist during inception and creation and/or production of the work. The live performance in the auction can take place in a metaverse. Depending on how the artist/musician/creator sets up an auction, fans can bid on digital representations of versions and/or parts of the work, the recorded video and/or audio of the work being created, the physical work created, specific copyright rights, and supplemental assets associated with the work or the artist/musician/creator. Such a system enables bidding on any number of combinations of assets captured, created, or modified during one or more auctions. Fans can band together to bid on any asset and establish fractionalized ownership that is optionally governed through a DAO.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods to create apparel and other goods that provide embedded verification of a transferrable non-fungible token (“NFT”). For instance, a system may identify a good with a visualization of an NFT artifact, and a tag that is encoded with a unique network identifier. The system may obtain data for a profile of a user that purchases the good, may link the data from the profile of the user to the unique network identifier, may record the user as an owner of a NFT created for the NFT artifact on a blockchain, and may link the NFT to the unique network identifier. The system may present a website that is dynamically populated with the data from the profile and ownership information recorded with the NFT on the blockchain in response to a request from a device that reads the unique network identifier from the tag.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to receive a message from a user device. The message may include metadata that includes data related to one or more specifications of the user device. The method may also determine a sales price for the user device based on the one or more specifications of the user device and create a listing for the user device that includes at least the sales price and at least one of the one or more specifications of the user device.

Abstract: A system for conducting a computer-based, simultaneous, multiple round, descending clock auction for basic generation services includes a web server for receiving bid data for one or more users for basic generation service products, an application server host application software, which processes the one or more bids according to at least one auction rule, tracks the auction, monitors the auction, and/or determines when to end the auction, and a database server, which stores auction data. A method of conducting a computer-based, simultaneous, multiple round, descending clock auction for basic generation services includes the repeating steps of receiving bids indicating desired tranche units of basic generation service products, calculating next round prices for each product, and sending round results to bidders.

Abstract: A system, method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium provide a platform for shoppers to remotely search for products in physical stores and to communicate with store sales people. Shoppers and stores perform an onboarding process in which they enter personal, business and payment information, respectively, to enable use of the system. The platform allows shoppers to search for a particular product via a device application on a mobile communication device of the shopper by inputting a selected amount of search criteria such as a segment, a category, a sub category and associated brand, size, color and price range. Further, the platform allows shoppers to efficiently inquire about particular products and to purchase products in a single chat session with a store sales person remotely.

Abstract: A system includes location indicators, a central computing system, and a mobile scanning device. The location indicators transmit location signals and are arranged in a store that includes stocked items. The central computing system stores an item association table that maps location values to the stocked items. The location values indicate locations of the stocked items in the store. The mobile scanning device receives ordered items from the central computing system, detects location signal(s), and determines a first location value based on the detected location signal(s). The mobile scanning device arranges the ordered items on a display based on the first location value, scans a first ordered item, and transmits data to the central computing system indicating that the first ordered item is associated with the first location value. The central computing system updates the item association table based on the data.

Abstract: A computing resource monitoring service obtains a request from a third-party partner system to generate a first bus. In response to the request, the computing resource monitoring service updates an account associated with a customer of a remote service to indicate presence of the first bus. The computing resource monitoring service activates the first bus to establish an association with a second bus, obtain a set of events generated by a resource of the third-party partner system, and provides the set of events to the first bus. A diamond selection system determines predicted ring attributes by obtaining and analyzing data related to a recipient, such as social media activity. Abstract: A customer may wish to purchase products with a lower associated carbon footprint when shipped, or may wish to know the cost associated with offsetting a product's carbon footprint in order to make informed decisions, while browsing and making purchases online. The computer is faced with the computational challenge of trying to determine a value indicative of the carbon emissions associated with shipping a package, before the package has even shipped. The computation may need to be performed during interactive scenarios, such as while browsing. A system and method are provided in order to present a customer with a carbon emissions indication relating to the shipment of a product without disrupting typical online activity.

Abstract: Method and system to facilitate transactions in a particular on-line trading platform from a third party web site may be utilized beneficially to enhance a user's experience in purchasing items referenced on third party web pages. When a user encounters, on a third party web site, a presentation of an item that is linked to a listing maintained by the on-line trading platform, the user may simply click on the presentation of the item, which causes presentation of a visual control selectable to launch a transaction processing flow facilitated by the on-line trading platform, without requiring the user to leave the third party web site.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling procurement systems where tender review process is by selecting external/internal reviewers randomly and by managing at least three levels of reviews. The method comprises collecting a tender information by an application server; collecting the bids; and collecting reviews at each level and transmitting the reviews to the next-level reviewers. The reviewers are selected from a reviewer register for each review level. The first-level reviews are transmitted or kept confidential as per entity preference to the second-level reviewer devices and the second-level reviews are collected within a limit period of time and simultaneously. The second-level reviews are collected from the second-level reviewers and transmitted to the third-level reviewers. The system may analyse the collected reviews and select the winner of the tender based on reviews collected.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating item recommendations are disclosed. One method includes sampling from a weighted node-based graph to generate a sampled graph, wherein sampling includes selecting a plurality of nodes and, for each selected node, one or more node pairs. The selection of the node pairs is based at least in part based on a weight assigned to the node pair in the weighted node-based graph. The method further includes aggregating information from the one or more neighboring nodes into each corresponding node of the plurality of nodes in the sampled graph to generate a vector representation of the sampled graph. The method also includes applying a loss function to the vector representation of the sampled graph to generate a modified vector representation. The modified vector representation is used to generate, in response to identification of an item from an item collection, a selection of one or more recommended items from within the item collection.

These individual items may have different indicia applied to them, so as to differentiate them from individual items that do correspond to the applied filter.
