  • Patent number: 5426601
Abstract: An external power supply voltage V.sub.CC is applied to a peripheral circuit as a first internal power supply voltage V.sub.PERI. A power supply voltage control circuit outputs a voltage control signal V.sub.SIG of a high logic level if V.sub.CC is not greater than a low limit voltage V.sub.0L in a voltage range specified by VCC recommended operating conditions, otherwise it outputs V.sub.SIG of a low logic level. A power supply circuit applies a second internal power supply voltage V.sub.W and a third internal power supply voltage V.sub.WORD to a memory cell section. V.sub.W is equal to V.sub.PERI if V.sub.SIG is HIGH, while on the other hand V.sub.W is a voltage as a result of boosting V.sub.PERI. V.sub.WORD is a voltage as a result of boosting VW to a further extent. A row decoder sends out V.sub.W onto an enable signal line of a row of sense amplifiers, and V.sub.WORD onto a word line of a memory cell array so that V.sub.W becomes a high-logic-level data write voltage to a memory cell.

  • Patent number: 5396124
Abstract: In a semiconductor memory having a redundant circuit, a plurality of first normal cells and a plurality of first spare cells are connected to a first pair of data lines, and a plurality of second normal cells and a plurality of second spare cells are connected to a second pair of data lines. Both pairs of data lines are connected to an output data line through a selecting amplifier. A normal cell is selected based on a combination of NGWL1, NGWL2, . . . with BLK1, BLK2, both NGWL1, NGWL2, . . . and BLK1, BLK2 being supplied from a decoder, and a spare cell is selected based on a combination of the BLK1, BLK2 supplied from the decoder with SGWL1, SGWL2, . . . supplied from a redundancy judging circuit. A second spare cell is selected when a first normal cell is selected, and a first spare cell is selected when a second normal cell is selected. Only at the time when a spare address is entered, one of the SGWL1, SGWL 2, . . . is raised.

  • Patent number: 5395173
Abstract: A bar code printer capable of printing bar codes simultaneously with character strings made of, for example, alphanumeric characters. Operating a bar code key causes a bar code input display to appear on a display and the bar code start code to be stored in a bar code buffer. Then operating a number key causes a number code representing the number to be stored in the bar code buffer and a dot pattern representing the number code to be output to a video RAM. Operating an execution key while a 13 digit number code is stored in the bar code buffer will additionally cause an end code to be stored in the bar code buffer and the resultant code string to be stored in a text memory.

  • Patent number: 5344247
Abstract: A printing device, which is capable of printing image onto a tape-type recording medium along the longitudinal direction of the tape-type recording medium, is also capable of printing the image on the tape-type recording medium in a rotated fashion with respect to the longitudinal direction of the tape-type recording medium. When the image is printed with a certain rotation, it is discriminated whether a length of the image to be printed in the rotated fashion in the width direction of the tape-type recording medium is smaller than the width of the tape-type recording medium. Then the size of the image to be printed is reduced if the length of the image is greater than or equal to the width of the tape-type recording medium.

  • Patent number: 5294202
Abstract: In a printing device for printing bar-codes, a string of characters and symbols representing the contents of the bar-codes are printed under the bar-codes by replacing the lower part of the dot pattern with the dot pattern for the string. The present invention is characterized in that the printing device has a decision means for deciding whether or not to print characters and for printing bar-codes with a sufficient height for reading operation by bar-code readers. The printing device automatically omits the string of characters when a character size set by an operator is not large enough to print a string and a bar-code in juxtaposition.

  • Patent number: 4984012
Abstract: In a color image copying apparatus, a light-path change-over reflector is movable into and out of a light path extending from a light source to an exposing station where a color latent image is to be formed on a photosensitive recording medium according to color image information of an original image. When the change-over reflector is disposed in the light path, the light from the light source is oriented or shifted so as to display the color image information of the original on a monitoring screen. Filters are used for color correction. When monitoring the original image on the screen, the filters are moved away from the light path. Further, the filters can be superposed together for minute color control with respect to the photosensitive sheet.

  • Patent number: 4797107
Abstract: A copyable blackboard has: a written member on which a picture including such as characters or figures is depicted a first carrier for carrying the written member, a light source for irradiating light to the picture on a portion of the written member located at a predetermined position on the written member to generate an optical signal corresponding to the picture, a photosensitive member which receives the optical signal from the written member and produces a latent image of the picture thereon. A second carrier is provided for carrying the photosensitive member, an image developing element for developing the latent image on the photosensitive member itself or on a copy paper to obtain a copy of the picture, and a control element for controlling the first and second carriers the photosensitive member and the light source.

  • Patent number: 4642779
Abstract: A writing-plotting apparatus with a keyboard capable of writing characters in a writing mode, and plotting graphs in a plotting mode, comprising a carriage carrying a writing instrument such a ball-point pen movable toward and away from a sheet of paper, a first memory for storing character pattern data representative of characters, a second memory for storing graphic pattern data representative of patterns of graphs, and a control device which, in the writing mode, reads out from the first memory the character pattern data corresponding to the operated character keys, and in the plotting mode, reads out from the second memory the graphic pattern data. The control device is responsive to the read-out character or graphic pattern data to control the operations of drives for feeding the paper along one axis, and reciprocating the carriage along another axis perpendicular to the one axis.
