  • Patent number: 4446905
Abstract: In pneumatic radial tires for running on rough ground, which are useful for applying to construction vehicles and provided with a tread reinforcing layer composed of a plurality of belts embedded in a crown portion of the tires, which surrounds a carcass composed of at least one cord layer arranged in radial plane of the tire, said tread reinforcing layer comprises a pair of main intersecting belts having different belt width in which cords are arranged so as to intersect with each other across an equator of the tire, and supplemental two belts arranged in the inside and outside of said pair of main intersecting belts respectively, in which cords have an elongation at breakage of at least 40% larger than that of the cords of the main intersecting belts, and an angle of the cords in the belt having the smaller width in the main intersecting belts with respect to the above described equator is 2.degree.-9.degree.

  • Patent number: 4434933
Abstract: A gas flow rate control system designed to control the gas flow rate by continuously controlling the opening of an electromagnetic valve, wherein the magnetic hysteresis of a plunger and a yoke which are magnetic material forming the magnetic circuit is removed by alternately passing current pulses through two energizing coils, so as to continuously reverse the direction of magnetization of the magnetic circuit and wherein the static friction between the plunger and the yoke is removed by oscillating the plunger.

  • Patent number: 4313310
Abstract: A cooling system utilizing cold outdoor air and water for cooling high heat generating equipment such as a computer. The system includes a cold water coil and a cold water switching valve in addition to an ordinary air conditioning apparatus. When the outdoor temperature is sufficiently low, the water is routed through the cold water coil instead of a condensor, and the room air is cooled directly by the cold water.

  • Patent number: 4086948
Abstract: A radial tire for heavy load vehicles such as light trucks, trucks, busses, super-large type construction vehicles, etc. is disclosed. The radial tire comprises a carcass ply composed of a steel cord ply and wound around a bead core from the inside toward the outside thereof to form a turn-up portion. The upper end of the turn-up portion is upwardly extended to a position located between a point passing over the maximum width point of the carcass ply expanded by applying an internal pressure to the tire and a point where a normal drawn perpendicular from a hump to the carcass ply crosses with the carcass ply. The turn-up portion of the carcass ply is separated from the carcass ply by means of a soft rubber layer composed of rubber having a Shore A hardness which is smaller than a Shore A hardness of a coating rubber of the carcass ply and a 300% modulus of elasticity which is 50% to 85% of a 300% modulus of elasticity of the coating rubber of the carcass ply.
