Abstract: A surgical robot includes a robotic arm, a cart supporting the robotic arm and including a steering assembly. The steering assembly comprises wheels and a handle. The handle is moveable to a first position, a second position, and a third position. The steering assembly is configured such that the wheels allow the cart to roll in a longitudinal direction when the handle is in the first position, the wheels allow the cart to be roll a rotational direction when the handle is in the second position, and the wheels allow the cart to roll in a lateral direction when the handle is in the third position.

Abstract: A composition for reducing transient flora on skin and improving the condition of the skin includes Ethanol or Isopropanol in an amount that is in a range from at least 60% to about 95% v/v of the composition and a hydrophobe-in-water dispersion. The composition can be prepared by homogenizing and high-pressure high-shearing a mixture of water, humectants, and one or more hydrophobes to form a hydrophobe-in-water dispersion, separately preparing an aqueous medium having the ethanol or isopropanol, and combining hydrophobe-in-water dispersion with the aqueous medium.

The method comprises an acceleration phase, a bowed-rotor cooling phase, during the acceleration, and a combustion phase. The bowed-rotor cooling phase comprises a time where the rotational speed of the rotor is maintained below a bowed-rotor threshold speed until a non-bowed condition is satisfied, wherein the air forced through the gas turbine engine cools the rotor. The combustion phase occurs after the bowed-rotor cooling phase and upon reaching the combustion speed, wherein fuel is supplied to the gas turbine engine is turned on.

Abstract: Technologies for providing policy-based secure containers for multiple enterprise applications include a client computing device and an enterprise policy server. The client computing device sends device attribute information and a request for access to an enterprise application to the enterprise policy server. The enterprise policy server determines a device trust level based on the device attribute information and a data sensitivity level based on the enterprise application, and sends a security policy to the client computing device based on the device trust level and the data sensitivity level. The client computing device references or creates a secure container for the security policy, adds the enterprise application to the secure container, and enforces the security policy while executing the enterprise application in the secure container. Multiple enterprise applications may be added to each secure container. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for detecting malicious entity behavior and providing accurate indicator of behaviors indicating occurrence of malicious behavior. Data input as to the entity behavior is received and monitored from different sources. The entity behavior is monitored over time at time periods. Detection probability is determined at each time period, where the detection probability relates to malicious behavior and increases over time. A trigger indicator of behavior is provided if the detection probability reaches a threshold value.

Abstract: An apparatus for treating a surface has a vehicle including an extensible boom. A multi-purpose hood is attached to the boom. The hood includes at least one nozzle for spraying a fluid through an outlet of the hood, the nozzle adapted for reciprocating, non-rotational movement in a generally linear direction relative to the opening in the hood. The multi-purpose hood may be adapted for rotating independently about three different axes, and may include a first actuator for controlling a roll of the hood, a second actuator for controlling a yaw of the hood, a third actuator for controlling a pitch of the hood, and a fourth actuator for controlling an extension of the boom and a second actuator for controlling a swing of the boom. The extensible boom may be connected to a telescoping conduit for communicating fluid along the boom to or from the multi-purpose hood. Related methods are also disclosed.
