  • Patent number: 11938859
Abstract: A searchlight system for mounting to a vehicle, for example on the A-pillar, without requiring modification to structural frame components. The system comprises a mounting assembly which is installed on the vehicle and a searchlight assembly which is mounted to the mounting assembly. Searchlight assemblies with different optical devices can be modularly exchanged with respect to the same mounting assembly installed on the vehicle. Also disclosed is a method for installing such systems. Other aspects are directed to heat dissipation and ingress protection for the searchlight assembly.

  • Publication number: 20190313761
Abstract: A hair dryer which conveys an airflow alternatively in a first direction and in a second direction. A first or concentrating end of the hair dryer expels the airflow when conveyed in the first direction; a second or diffusing end of the hair dryer expels the airflow when conveyed in the second direction. The second end includes a holding structure having a surface which extends across the airflow, and a plurality of apertures which extend through the surface to provide pathways for the airflow. A plurality of pins may be formed around a perimeter of the surface of the support structure, which are spaced apart from each other and extend out from the surface away from the hair dryer.

  • Patent number: 10215392
Abstract: An LED optical light engine spotlight which can accommodate a variable number of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) is disclosed. An optical projection lens mounted in front of the LEDs merges the separate LED beams into a single beam, similar to the single beam provided by a halogen light and reflector. A heat sink provides convection cooling up to approximately 100° F. An optional fan provides additional heat dissipation for more extreme conditions. The depicted device can include a vertical tilt of over 200°. Optimally, the depicted device is designed to have a full vertical tilt range between zenith (0 degrees) to horizontal (90 degrees) to full depression (135 degrees). An optional accessory lens provides additional capabilities, including flood lenses, colored lenses and rock guards, for example. The depicted device can be hard wired or wireless. The depicted device can be adapted to many base units and/or pan and tilt platforms.

  • Publication number: 20180184866
Abstract: Improvements to dual channel vacuums as disclosed herein. Dual channel vacuums have a set of substantially fluid tight fluid plenums with a fluid exhaust channel having a redirection member proximate its exit and a fluid intake channel. Also provided is a vacuum blower motor to draw fluid into said fluid intake channel. The redirection member is configured to reflect fluid expelled from said fluid exhaust channel to the fluid intake channel such that the reflected fluid agitates the surface to be cleaned. One improvement is the fluid plenums being formed of an upper element, center element and bottom element, wherein the upper element and the center element form the fluid exhaust channel and the center element and the lower element form the fluid intake channel. Another improvement is a an outflow generator is provided to either create or supplement the fluid flow in the fluid exhaust channel.

  • Publication number: 20170080874
Abstract: A rotatable optical device housing and mounting platform is disclosed. The optical device housing includes a bezel, front housing and rear housing. The optical device housing can include a number of lighting devices, including light-emitting diodes (LEDs), high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps, halogen lights, incandescent lights, or imaging devices, such as cameras, while utilizing the same bezel, front housing and rear housing. The depicted device can include a vertical tilt, which is adjustable either manually or electronically. A slip ring system provides continuous 360° rotation ability, with controllable and adjustable speed settings. Alternatively, a stop can be used instead of the slip ring, wherein the stop serves as a point of reversal of the unit's rotation. The unit contains an optional home position, allowing a user to select a point in the horizontal rotation to which the unit will return at the touch of a button.

  • Patent number: 9144359
Abstract: A carpet washing attachment with a vacuum hose attached to a washing head with a liquid line feeding water/cleaning fluid into washing head is disclosed. Washing head is formed of hollow members and a cover sealed to the top washing head with the vacuum hose attached to the cover. This forms cleaning area which is surrounded by the hollow members. Each of the hollow members has water jet holes located on the inner part of the washing head such that the water exiting the holes is projected inward so that the jets of water come to an apex and intersect at a given distance X from the bottom of the washing head. The angle of the jets and the spacing of members should be chosen such that the distance X is roughly the depth of the carpet pile to be washed.
