Abstract: This middle binding particularly for ski shoes comprises a box-type case attachable to a ski and supporting a forward hook-on ferrule and a rear hook-on ferrule removably engageable in hook-on seats correspondingly defined in the sole of a ski shoe. The binding further comprises screw members for adjusting the release tension and hook elements or jaws for removably locking the ferrules in a retracted position. The hook elements or jaws are disengaged by actuators protruding from the box-type case and engaged by the ski shoe sole.

Abstract: The binding comprises a plate having a transverse flap located at a first end thereof, and a bar pivotally connected to a second end thereof. A spring is adapted for adjusting oscillation of the bar relative to the plate, the first end whereof is pivotally connected to a base, attachable to a ski. The transverse flap and the bar are adapted for engaging grip elements provided at the sole of an item of footwear. Shoulders protruding from the base rotatably support a hook which is releasably engagable with teeth, rigidly associated with the bar, for selectively preventing oscillation between the plate and the base. A longitudinal lug is also attachable to a ski and accommodatable in a recess formed in the sole of an item of footwear, to prevent lateral movement of the footwear with respect to the longitudinal axis of the ski.

Abstract: Brake, particularly for the locking of tensioning elements provided on ski boots, constituted by an arm eccentrically pivoted to a containment body and having a curved portion engaging the groove of a pulley adapted to wind a traction element such as a cable; an elastic means forces the arm curved portion in the groove, means being provided for the disengagement of the arm from the pulley.

Abstract: Winder safety device comprising a manually operable knob which is provided with a stem rotatably associated with a supporting element, provided on a portion of a ski boot, to said supporting element being pivoted coaxial with the stem a winder of at least one elastic traction element lockable against rotation by external locking mean. A drive wheel is keyed to the knob for rotation therewith and free to slide axially with respect to the stem, the drive wheel is provided with a first gear which meshes unidirectionally with a facing second gear rigidly associated with the winder. The configuration of the first gear and of the second gear is such that the two gears engage without meshing with each other upon a rotation opposite to the winding of said at least one traction element.

Means for kinematic switching are adapted to kinematically connect the actuation assembly alternately to the first winder or to the second winder mans for the releasable locking of the rotation in the direction of unwinding are applied to the winders.

Abstract: The ski boot with an operating assembly for the closing and adjustment devices comprises a power source supported by the ski boot and operating a driving gearwheel which is selectively engageable with driven gearwheels for the winding of cables of closing and/or adjustment devices of the boot. Members are furthermore provided for removably blocking the unwinding of said cables.

Abstract: The ski binding comprises a body which can be fixed to a ski and is removably accomodatable in a recess provided in the lower face of the sole of a ski boot. The body defines a fixed coupling element which is engageable with a first abutment provided at one end of said recess and supports a movable coupling element which can move with respect to the body and is removably engageable with a second abutment provided at the other end of the recess. The movable coupling element is connected to a piston which is sealingly movable in a fluid chamber connected to a tank chamber, wherein an operating piston, is sealingly movable, and protrudes from said body, and interacts with a portion of the recess upon the application of the boot to the binding, to feed the fluid from the tank chamber to the fluid chamber, with consequent motion of the movable coupling element to engage with the second abutment.

Abstract: This operating device comprises an operating knob rigid with a reel accommodating a cable winding thereon and acting on foot locking elements. The knob is supported on a lever pivoted at one end thereof to the ski boot so as to be movable between an opening position in which the knob is accessible from the outside and a closing position in which the knob is enclosed between the lever and the ski boot. The knob presents a half-moon-shaped lever pivoted to the knob and also movable between a rest position, flush with the knob, and an operating position, in which the half-moon-shaped lever is arranged transversally to the knob and acts as a gripping member therefor.

Abstract: This ski boot for disappearing-type bindings, on the sole of the boot, in a recess for accommodating the binding, comprises at least one small block defining an engagement seat for one of the pushers of the binding. The small block is movable between an engagement position, in which it engages the pusher and a retracted position, allowing unfastening of the binding. A locking mechanism is provided for holding the small block in the engagement position and may be operated from the outside of the ski boot for allowing movement of the small block in the retracted position.

Abstract: The ski boot comprises a body which defines enbloc the base shell and the front quarter, said body being pivotably connected to a rear quarter. Inside the body an internal quarter is provided, which is associated at its lower end to said body and occupies the front part of the leg, and, if required, also occupies the forward top part of the foot, as well as lateral parts of the leg and foot. Furthermore, closing means are provided, which means are rigidly connected to the internal quarter, and are connected to the front quarter defined by the body and the rear quarter for securing the leg of the user.

Abstract: This ski boot comprises a boot shell having a front gaiter and a rear gaiter associated therewith, as well as a lever element which is pivoted at one end to either of said gaiters, preferably the rear gaiter, for rotation about the pivot axis. Journalled to a middle portion of the lever element is an adjustment assembly for adjusting the working length of a pair of cables which are attached with the other ends thereof to the other gaiter, e.g. the front gaiter, at a point away from the pivot axis. The lever element may be moved to an open position, whereat said adjustment assembly is made accessible for operation and the working length of the cables can be adjusted without pulling them, and to a closed position, whereat the cables tighten the gaiters against each other, and the adjustment assembly cannot be reached from the outside.

The gaiter closure device presents a lever element pivoted, at one end, to either of the gaiters for rotation about the pivot axis between an open and a closed position. The lever element supports an assembly for adjusting the working length of a cable interconnecting the gaiters. The adjustment assembly has a slider engageable with the cable and movable along a direction substantially perpendicular to the pivot axis for adjusting the working length of the cable with the lever element in the open position.

Abstract: A rear entrance ski boot incorporating a flex adjusting device, which comprises at least one band element connected to the front quarter of the ski boot and acting by contact on the boot shell. Also provided are means of changing the position of the band element relatively to the front quarter to vary the contact condition between the boot shell and band element itself.
