  • Patent number: 11374531
Abstract: A roof mount system supports a solar panel above a roof and includes a base positioned on the roof and a first fastener connected to the base and extending away from the roof and moveable along the base in a direction generally parallel to the roof. A first clamp supports a bottom surface of a solar panel frame and adjusts the height of the solar panel above the roof by moving the first clamp along a first fastener in a direction perpendicular to the roof. A second clamp is connected to a second fastener and moves with respect to the first clamp perpendicular to the roof. The solar panel is clamped between the first clamp and the second clamp portion. A protrusion extends from the first or second clamp to form an electrical bond between the solar panel frame and the respective first or second clamp.

  • Publication number: 20220188860
Abstract: Adaptive control of exposure. A proportional exposure cap is a maximum fraction applicable to a recipient's total viewable attention in a time window. The total viewable attention represents all viewable advertising content which will be provided to the recipient. A notification of availability of an opportunity to expose a specified recipient to advertising content is received during the time window. The specified recipient's consumed viewable attention is detected. The specified recipient's total viewable attention for the time window is predicted. Responsive to the maximum fraction of the specified recipient's predicted total viewable attention for the time window being greater than the consumed viewable attention of the specified recipient, content is sent to the specified recipient and the consumed viewable attention is updated.

  • Patent number: 11238340
Abstract: A system predicts future positions or vergence depth of the user's eyes and generates gaze contingent content, such as for a head-mounted display (HMD), based on the predicted positions or vergence depth. The system includes an eye tracking controller that creates eye tracking information defining positions of a first eye and a second eye of a user over time. The eye tracking information is input to a neural network model that outputs the predicted positions or vergence depth. The predicted positions or vergence depth is then used to render the gaze contingent content, or to change other configurations of the HMD. Latency between the detection of user eye movement and the output of corresponding content is reduced to provide a more immersive real-time user experience.

  • Publication number: 20210267539
Abstract: Systems and methods for sonifying electrical signals obtained from a living subject, particularly EEG signals, are disclosed. A time-domain signal representing the activity of an organ is obtained. A voltage of the time-domain signal over a time block is determined. An acoustic signal based on the time-domain signal over the time block is produced. The acoustic signal comprises one or more audibly discernible variations representative of the activity of the organ. If the determined voltage is over a threshold voltage, the time-domain signal is squelched over at least a portion of the time-block as the acoustic signal is produced. The time-domain signal can be squelched by ramping down the signal as an input to produce the acoustic signal. The frequency spectrum of the acoustic signal can also be adjusted as it is produced, such as by flattening the signal and/or attenuating high frequencies along the frequency spectrum of the signal.
