  • Patent number: 11220381
Abstract: The bottle-sealing and preservation device provides for the sealing of necked bottles, including those designed to hold pressure such as champagne bottles, using mechanical advantage to compress an O-ring against the inner surface of the bottle neck. The device can accommodate a wide range of bottle-neck diameters and includes a stabilizing ring that engages the bottle mouth. Optionally, the device may be fitted with a cylindrical cage in which an oxygen-scavenging sachet may be inserted to pull oxygen out of the bottle headspace, thereby preserving any remaining liquid therein that is susceptible to oxidation.

  • Publication number: 20220005051
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for alarm response automation in manufacturing, distribution, and general supply chain environments. Sensors categorized as part of an industrial IoT environment are used to detect asset health, including asset abnormalities and trends. Alarm exceptions generate actionable events, which are used to invoke a multi-tiered, hierarchical application of asset entitlements. This data guidance provides enhanced alarm response automation via intelligent filtration and consolidation by grouping recurrent or related alarms from assets, models, model types, components, customers, and sites into a single actionable event. This actionable event has its own unique categorizations that work in concert. At any point, additional, definable processes may be executed to further refine the data. The resulting layered, asset entitlement approach thereby creates a high level of filtration and intelligence from the IoT-generated data.

  • Publication number: 20210334890
Abstract: A system for displaying a simulated room can comprise a projector, a wall structure element, a physical object, and a room customization station. The room customization station can view images of selectable products and allows a selection thereof to be displayed on the wall structure element or the physical object. The projector can display the selectable product(s) on the wall structure element or the physical object. The physical object can be adjustable in size for different selectable product sizes. The system can include a physical accessory placeable in the simulated room to facilitate visualization of how the physical accessory would appear in the simulated room with the selectable product. Further, the room customization station can prevent a portion of the images from being projected onto a physical feature in the simulated room and allow other portions of the images to be projected into a portion of the simulated room.

  • Patent number: 11120398
Abstract: In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a travel product system. The travel product system determines user product preferences for personal care products that the user may wish to use at a travel destination. In an embodiment, the system comprises a system for processing personal care products for use during travel. The travel product system may obtain these preferences directly from the user, or may automatically obtain the preferences from other sources. The travel product system may cause appropriate amounts of the products to be packaged and delivered to the user's travel destination, thus reducing waste and making the products available at the destination without having to carry them while in transit.

  • Patent number: 11116308
Abstract: In some embodiments, an authorization server device receives a request for an activation token to activate a personal care device. The authorization server device determines an authorized usage amount, and generates an activation token based on the authorized usage amount to be transmitted to the personal care device. Activation of a personal care device may be authorized based on consumable products obtained for use with the personal care device. By limiting activation of the personal care device based on consumable products obtained for use with the personal care device, the technical problems in overuse of some consumable products (such as brush heads) or underuse of other consumable products (such as serums or cleansers) can be avoided, and maximum results from use of the personal care devices can be easier to obtain.

  • Patent number: 11076685
Abstract: In some embodiments, usage of a personal care device in compliance with a recommended use is improved. A usage monitor computing device may detect and store records of use of the personal care device. The usage monitor computing device may transmit the records of use to a monitoring server device via a network. The usage monitor computing device may determine whether the records of use indicate that the personal care device has been used as directed by the recommendations, and if so, may determine whether one or more rewards for use should be provided to the user. The usage monitor computing device may receive notifications of the rewards, and may present notifications of the rewards to the user.
