Abstract: Computer-readable media, methods, and systems are disclosed for linear interval-based dynamic range partitioning in one or more database systems. A request is received by a database management system to insert a new row into a partitioned database table. The partitioned database table may include a plurality of existing partitions and a partition others partition. Based on determining that the new row should be inserted into the partition others partition a series of steps are performed. First, one or more new partitions are added to the partitioned database table. Then, the new row is inserted into the one of the one or more new partitions in the partitioned database table.

Abstract: A first electronic device determines that a first trigger condition is satisfied, sends a first instruction to enable a first sound wave transmitter to send a first sound wave signal, and sends a second instruction to enable a second sound wave transmitter to send a second sound wave signal. A second electronic device sends a third instruction to enable a first sound wave receiver to receive the first sound wave signal and the second sound wave signal, calculates a first receiving start moment and a second receiving start moment, obtains first location information, determines second location information based on the first receiving start moment, the second receiving start moment, and the first location information, and sends the second location information to the first electronic device. The first electronic device updates third location information by using the second location information.

Abstract: A theme classification method based on multimodality is related to a field of a knowledge map. The method includes obtaining text information and non-text information of an object to be classified. The non-text information includes at least one of visual information and audio information. The method also includes determining an entity set of the text information based on a pre-established knowledge base, and then extracting a text feature of the object based on the text information and the entity set. The method also includes determining a theme classification of the object based on the text feature and a non-text feature of the object.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides, among other things, methods and devices for single cells/particle selection and isolation from a sample in a light-curable biomatrix gel. The individual cells or particles are observed by microscopy and manipulated and isolated by accurately controlling the light transmission from a liquid crystal display (LCD) oriented under the sample to provide a detailed image of the sample. In some embodiments, selected cells or particles are then immobilized by curing the biomatrix gel with blue/violet light transmitted from a LED pixel array. In other embodiments, the selected cells or particles of interest are allowed to remain mobile. In either embodiment, the individual cells or particles of interest are segregated from and isolated from the remainder of the sample.

Abstract: A route updating method and a user cluster is disclosed. A master node of the user cluster operates in a worker node of a cluster provided by a service provider. The user cluster includes at least one worker node in which a BGP routing client operates, a BGP routing server operates in the master node, a BGP connection exists between the BGP routing client and the BGP routing server. When the BGP routing client detects that a new component is created by a worker node, the BGP routing client sends a route adding request corresponding to the component to the BGP routing server. When received, the BGP routing server adds a route table entry including the IP address of the component and the IP address of the worker node where the BGP routing client is located to a local route table of the master node.

Abstract: In a method for encryption of sensitive data, an encrypted user private key is received in a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) in a worker node in a container management system, the encrypted user private key being an encrypted version of a user private key for decrypting a message from a user in the container management system. The user private key is obtained in the TEE, and the encrypted user private key being decrypted into the user private key with a provider private key that is received from an encryption manager for managing the container management system. With these embodiments, the user private key may be transmitted to the worker node safely, such that the worker node may use the user private key to decrypt messages from the user. Therefore, the security level of the container management system may be increased.

Touches detected at one or more of the perimeter touch electrodes can be imputed to touch on a region of the display of the touch screen adjacent to the perimeter touch electrodes. In some examples, the perimeter touch electrodes comprise segmented frit metal arranged around the perimeter of the display (e.g., frit metal used to encapsulate the display). In some examples, the perimeter touch electrodes can be coupled to one or more touch sensing circuits via switching circuitry. In some examples, the switching circuitry can be operated based on control signals shared with the display circuitry.

The method further includes coating the plurality of particles with a conductive polymer. The coating includes preparing a solution of water and the conductive polymer. The coating further includes forming a slurry by combining the solution with the plurality of particles. The method further includes drying the slurry to form the coated electroactive material. The coated electroactive material includes the plurality of particles. Each of the plurality of particles is at least partially coated with the conductive polymer. In certain aspects, the present disclosure provides a method of preparing an electrode including the coated electroactive material.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a method of dynamically adjusting timing between adjacent networks in a synchronous network and an electronic shelf label system. The method includes: determining, by a server, a timing adjustment direction and a timing adjustment value of a current network based on an interference timing relationship diagram; generating, by the server, a corresponding adjustment task form the timing adjustment direction and the timing adjustment value of the current network, and sending the adjustment task to a master base station in the current network in the processing of each of the current networks, such that the master base station and a secondary base station dynamically adjust timing based on the adjustment task.
