  • Patent number: 11832085
Abstract: Techniques for using a network to decompose an HRTF data set to generate approximation data and to render an audio signal using the approximation data are disclosed herein. An input HRTF data set is fed into the network, which then generates approximation data that includes mixing channel gains, FIR filter coefficients, and basis filter shapes. This approximation data controls various components in the network. When the input HRTF data set is fed as input into the network, then the output of the network is an output approximated HRTF data set. The network iteratively fine tunes the approximation data until the output approximated HRTF data set sufficiently matches the input HRTF data set. After the approximation data is sufficiently tuned, the approximation data is later used by the network to render an audio signal.

  • Publication number: 20230375593
Abstract: A method for inertial sensor error modeling and compensation comprises obtaining multiple bias drift datasets for an elapsed time period for one or more gyroscopes; generating a 3D bias drift data plot using the multiple bias drift datasets; generating a partial bias drift data image based on the 3D bias drift data plot; and inputting the partial bias drift data image into a machine learning algorithm to predict how bias drift evolves over time for the gyroscopes. The machine learning algorithm uses the partial bias drift data image, the elapsed time period, and temperature history to compute a predicted bias over temperature with respect to time, to thereby predict bias drift data for a future time period for the gyroscopes. The machine learning algorithm outputs a completed bias drift image that represents drift data from the elapsed time period and the predicted bias drift data for the future time period.

  • Patent number: 11702816
Abstract: A coupler for securing an attachment to an earth working machine. The coupler comprises a coupler body that presents a receptacle having a capture region. A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release of the pin from the capture region. A trigger that the pin will strike when the pin moves into or out of the capture region, decouples the driver from the retainer and the retainer is then allowed to be biased back to its retaining position by a spring.

  • Publication number: 20230160832
Abstract: The present invention relates to a biological sample quality apparatus for determining the quality of a biological sample. The apparatus includes a sample receiver for receiving the biological sample. One or more light sources are provided for supplying light to the sample. An image sensor is provided for capturing an image of the lit sample. The apparatus also includes an image processor for image processing the captured image to determine the quality of the sample. Advantageously, image processing may be used to determine the quality of a sample for use in collection sites and screening laboratories so that acceptability can be determined prior to analyzing the sample. Determination that the sample is of sufficient quality (e.g. sufficient biomaterial) prior to analyzing saves wastage of laboratory time and expense of materials and chemicals. The apparatus may be in the form of desktop or hand-held portable variations.
