  • Patent number: 11446629
Abstract: Current chemical batch processing technology is based on batch reactors, which typically consist of a vessel, in which reactants are processed. The batch reactor comprises a reactor vessel having at least one first thermal transfer element; a removable top cover for sealing the reactor vessel; a baffle component having at least one second thermal transfer element; and an agitator component, wherein each of the at least one first thermal transfer element and the at least one second thermal transfer element is independently controllable, and wherein the batch reactor comprises a thermal transfer surface-to-volume ratio of at least 6:1. This increases the thermal transfer potential and the thermal energy transfer efficiency of the batch reactor, thereby to increase production speed and throughput.

  • Patent number: 9572269
Abstract: A support arm system for a load such as a display device. The system includes a support arm rotatable at its proximal end about a mid joint axis, monitor supporting head at the distal end of the support arm has an internal slider element and compression spring, and an arrangement of links and pivots which create a torque to oppose the torque created by a load on the head and keep a monitor plate in the same viewing plane relative to the vertical as the arm moves through its range of movement.

  • Patent number: 9330164
Abstract: An electronic platform allowing users to form and organize groups of member profiles, which contain a number of biographical categories (e.g., name, address, etc.) and a personal photo. The electronic platform incorporates many different methods of testing the user to assist in the memorization of the faces and biographical information of the members of the group, i.e., electronic flash cards (one sided or two sided), multiple choice quizzes, etc. The users then may either create their own custom tests or they may use predesigned quizzes generated by the electronic platform.

  • Patent number: 8640998
Abstract: An assembly to attach a display device to a support includes a body attachable to a display device support and a mounting member to which a display device is mountable, the mounting member including a collar that defines an axis about which the mounting member is rotatable relative to the body, the collar having a curved inwardly facing seat, the assembly further comprising a biasing member and a resiliently deformable friction element on the body, the biasing member and the friction element being received in the collar with the mating surface facing the seat when the assembly is assembled such that, when the biasing member is moved in an axial direction into the friction element, the biasing member acts on the friction element and the friction element is resiliently deformed by the biasing member to urge its mating surface against the seat to increase the frictional force therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20120175476
Abstract: A monitor support (1) is disclosed and comprises a primary support member (4) for attachment to a post, wall or other mounting surface, a rigid link arm (6) extending from the primary support member for rotation relative to the primary support member about a first pivot axis (27) in a vertical plane, a secondary support member (7) attached to the free end of the link arm for rotation of the secondary support member relative to the link arm about a second pivot axis (42) parallel to the first pivot axis and, a flexible control element (25) extending between the primary and secondary support members spaced from the first and second pivot axes respectively. The monitor support is configured so that the control element causes the secondary support member to rotate relative to the link arm about the second pivot axis as the link arm rotates relative to the primary support member about the first pivot axis so as to maintain the same relative orientation of the primary and secondary support members.
