  • Publication number: 20150368951
Abstract: A hinge has a pivot assembly and a holding assembly. The pivot assembly has a securing panel, a connecting seat, a pivot shaft, and two positioning sets. Each of the positioning sets has a positioning ball and a silencing positioning element filled with lubricating grease. The holding assembly has two holding sheets holding the pivot shaft. With the holding sheets and the pivot shaft abutting each other with tooth or embossed surfaces, friction between the holding sheets and the pivot shaft is increased. Thus, the pivot shaft and the holding sheets do not pivot relative to each other easily. The lubricating grease in the silencing positioning elements can be smeared on the positioning balls, such that the positioning balls can smoothly roll on the pivot shaft without abrasion and no noise will occur.

  • Patent number: 9190961
Abstract: A Programmable-Gain Amplifier (PGA) has a digital value that programmably adjusts the gain of the analog amplifier. A variable capacitor has several switched sub-capacitors that are enabled by the digital value. Enabled sub-capacitors are switched between a sampled input and a virtual ground on one terminal, and connect to a summing node on the other terminal. The summing node connects to the inverting input of an op amp either through a switch or through a double-sampling capacitor that stores an offset. A feedback capacitor is in parallel with a sampling capacitor during a second clock phase when direct-charge transfer occurs, reducing power consumption of the amplifier. The feedback capacitor samples the sampled input during the first clock phase. The PGA gain is proportional to the sum of capacitances of enabled sub-capacitors. The gain can be adjusted for sensor inputs to an Analog Front-End (AFE), such as for an electro-cardiogram (ECG).

  • Publication number: 20140267696
Abstract: A glitch-free data fusion method for combining multiple attitude solutions is disclosed, wherein a star camera is set as the master star camera. After acquiring attitude solutions from the star cameras, a rotation difference is calculated between a master attitude solution acquired from the master star camera and a slave attitude solution acquired from other star cameras. Then, a steady difference is acquired from the rotation difference via a low pass filter for correcting the slave attitude solution. When combining the corrected slave attitude solutions with the master attitude solution, the attitude glitches or attitude jumps, which occur while transitioning between data fusion configurations with different number of available attitude solutions, can be eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20140229301
Abstract: The present invention relates to an ordering system that allows a mobile device to connect to the ordering system through an on-site wireless network access device and to place orders. A mobile device, such as a smartphone or a tablet, is connected to a service provider's wireless network access point to confirm the customer is physically on-site. The ordering system provides an ordering interface to the web browser running on the mobile device. A customer enters his order through the ordering interface on the mobile device. The order is sent back to the ordering system for processing. The ordering system processes the received order and sends status notifications to the mobile device to notify the customer that his order is ready.

  • Patent number: 8689239
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer system accesses an event associated with an activity, where the activity has been executed by a runtime as part of a software application. The runtime includes a software hook configured to listen for event stream operation indications from the user. The computer system tags the accessed event with an additional portion of identification information that uniquely identifies the executed activity. The computer system receives an event stream operation indication from the user indicating that event transmission for an identified event stream is to be dynamically enabled or disabled and identifies the user-indicated event stream using the tagged identification information. The computer system also dynamically performs the indicated event stream operation on the identified event stream according to the user's indication.

  • Publication number: 20130339487
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for processing and handling URL are disclosed. A URL-action table is relied on for storing registered applications with corresponding domain names. The registered applications may differ from common web browsers. When a URL or the hypertext referring to a URL is clicked, the domain name included in the URL is extracted and used to search the URL-action table for the registered application. If the registered application is valid, the application is invoked. Otherwise, a default web browser is invoked.

  • Patent number: 8468529
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to generating trace events that are configured to report an association between a workflow activity and a message. A computer system receives a message over a communication medium, where the workflow activity includes a unique workflow activity identifier (ID) that uniquely identifies the workflow activity. The message also includes a unique message ID that uniquely identifies the message. The computer system generates a trace event that includes a combination of the unique workflow activity ID and the unique message ID. The trace event is configured to report the association between the workflow activity and the message. The computer system also stores the generated trace event in a data store.

  • Patent number: 8444077
Abstract: An integral blender includes a hollow shell having a horizontal conical plate integrally formed in the interior to divide the interior of the hollow shell into a container portion and a base portion. The conical plate has a through hole. The base portion is employed to accommodate a transmitting mechanism provided with a shaft extending out of the through hole to be fixedly connected with a cutter in the container. The shaft is closely wrapped with a waterproof annular seal having the bottom combined together with the conical plate. Therefore, with the container portion and the base portion integrally formed together, manufacturing cost can be lowered and convenience in practice can be advanced.
