  • Patent number: 9237059
Abstract: A system for mapping and translating address information in a network is provided. The system includes a client-side address translator (120) and a server-side address translator (140). The client-side address translator (120) is configured to receive a data packet from a client (110). The data packet includes a first destination address representing the real destination address. The client-side address translator (120) maps the first destination address to another address using a mapping algorithm and transmits the data packet with the via the network (160). The server-side address translator (140) receives the data packet, translates the mapped address information back to the real destination address and forwards the data packet using the real destination address.

  • Patent number: 9049901
Abstract: A method for producing a regionalized-firmness midsole utilizing a heat press, and a description of the resultant product, are provided. Initially, the method involves providing a plurality of pre-formed phylon biscuits. Typically, the plurality of biscuits includes at least a first biscuit that has a first density and a second biscuit that has a second density. The method may further include the steps of arranging the biscuits into a receiving area of the heat press, and integrating the plurality of biscuits to form the midsole by activating the heat press. Integrating the biscuits includes raising the biscuits above a threshold temperature, and causing the biscuits to expand such that each of the plurality of biscuits couples with another of the biscuits to form a midsole with two or more degrees of firmness located at distributed regions thereon.

  • Patent number: 8595081
Abstract: Customized articles of footwear are produced by defining options that can be selected by a customer when submitting a custom order. These options typically include model options, functional options, and aesthetic options. These options are created by a design source, such as a shoe designer within a particular market, and presented to the customer when making the order. Upon a customer selecting one or more of the options at a user interface, the selected options are converted to specifications associated with the order. A work-load engine is employed to generate, based on the specifications, a work order that includes a dataflow for selecting appropriate stations on a manufacturing floor to participate in a manufacturing process, and a workflow for instructing each of the appropriate stations to perform a sequence of operations, within the manufacturing process, that result in fabricating individual components of the article of footwear according to the order.

  • Patent number: 8595222
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing start and stop properties to Semantic Web structured resources and statements are disclosed. The start and stop properties can specify a lifetime during which a resource or statement can be valid. A call or query to one or more resources can return statement data including the start and stop properties for the resources and/or statements. Dates can be specified with the call or query such that the returned resources and statements have lifetimes including the specified dates. Screen images of the data can display subject and object nodes and predicate arcs for the selected dates. A sequence of screen images can display a timeline of nodes and arcs by adding or hiding nodes and arcs to correspond with the start and stop properties of the statements. Tools are provided for the user to navigate through the sequence.

  • Patent number: 8315998
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for searching Semantic Web structured resources and presenting the search results to a user can increase the likelihood that the search can produce meaningful results. An index database can be constructed by parsing literal values from statements from the resources to obtain component words of the literal values, with the index relating the component words to the statements from which they were parsed. A search engine can obtain component words from the database that match search terms in a query prepared by the user and can obtain the related statements for the matching words. A servlet or other application using the search engine and database can obtain predicates, instances, types of said instances, and full literal values of said instances for the related statements. The search results can be presented to the user as a summary of the predicates, instances, types, and full literal values.

  • Publication number: 20120136083
Abstract: A manufacturing method, within a modularized manufacturing environment for stabilizing a phylon article that is produced utilizing a heat press, is provided. Initially, the method includes immersing a phylon article in a first tank, with a fluid disposed therein, and withdrawing the phylon article from exposure with the fluid. Typically, the midsole is heated from its production with the heat press when it is placed into the first tank. The immersion in the first tank acts to cool the phylon article, thereby stabilizing the heated phylon. The phylon article may be next placed in a second tank, with a fluid disposed therein, and withdrawn from exposure with the fluid. The fluid of the first tank may reside at a temperature comparable to or higher than the temperature of the fluid of the second tank. Recursively exposing the heated phylon article to the fluid of the tanks incrementally decreases the volume of the article.

  • Publication number: 20110119044
Abstract: An efficient, cycle-accurate processor execution simulator models a target processor by executing a program execution image comprising instructions having run-time dependencies resolved by execution on an existing processor compatible with the target processor. The instructions may have been executed upon a processor in an I/O environment too complex to model. In one embodiment, the simulator executes instructions that were directly executed on a processor. In another embodiment, a markup engine alters a compiled program image, with reference to instructions executed on a processor, to remove run-time dependencies. The marked up program image is then executed by the simulator. The processor execution simulator includes an update engine operative to cycle-accurately simulate instruction execution, and a communication engine operative to model each communication bus of the target processor.
