    Abstract: An electrical wedge connector comprising a shell, a wedge section sized and shaped for being inserted into the shell, and at least one elongated bar element. The wedge section is inserted into the shell for connecting two electrical conductors to each other. The wedge section has at least one passageway formed therethrough. The elongated bar element is mounted to the wedge section. The elongated bar element is located in said at least one passageway of the wedge section. The elongated bar element has piercing protrusions for effecting an electrical connection between each of the two conductors and the elongated bar. The wedge section includes at least one stop member for retaining the elongated bar element to the wedge section in at least one direction.

The outer perimeter of the front end of the connector contact surface, at two other opposite sides of the general pyramid shape, does not extend outward past the base of the pyramid shape at the two other opposite sides.

    Abstract: An electrical connector for grounding an electrical conductor. The connector has a base, a U-shaped fastener and a nut. The base is a one-piece metal member with a threaded stud, an elongate seat along one exterior side, and a hole through the base located between the seat and the stud. The U-shaped fastener has a first leg that extends through the hole, a second leg that extends along an exterior side of the base, and a head located opposite the seat on the base. The nut is attached to the legs of the U-shaped fastener on a side of the base opposite from the side of the base facing the head of the U-shaped fastener.

    Abstract: An electrical connector for connecting electrical conductors. The connector has a "C" shaped sleeve and a wedge. The sleeve has a middle section with an interior surface having a longitudinal depression and a stop ledge at a rear end of the depression. The wedge is comprised of an elongate sheet metal member that is folded over along its length at least two times to form the wedge with two adjacent loops. A side edge of the sheet metal member forms a latching ledge to engage the stop ledge on the sleeve for preventing the wedge from moving out of the sleeve.
