  • Patent number: 7166138
Abstract: A cathode foil and an anode foil, with an oxidized film layer formed on the surface and a separator interposed therebetween, are wound together to form a capacitor element, and prior to subjecting the capacitor element to chemical repair the content of the binder in the separator is adjusted to 10 to 20% with respect to the total weight of the separator. After the chemical repair, the capacitor element is immersed in mixed liquid prepared by mixing a polymerizable monomer and an oxidizing agent together with a predetermined solvent, a polymerization reaction of the electroconductive polymer is induced in the capacitor element, and a solid electrolyte layer is formed. The capacitor element is then inserted in an outer case; sealing rubber is mounted in the open-end portion and sealed with a tightening operation; and the unit is thereafter aged to form a solid electrolytic capacitor.

  • Patent number: 7165841
Abstract: A stereoscopic image display apparatus includes at least two linear image display devices which respectively display linear images in response to image signals. The two linear image display devices are periodically moved by a mechanical scan mechanism along a plurality of locus planes substantially parallel to each other. The mechanical scan mechanism may have a configuration which belt-drives the at least two linear image display devices fixed to a belt, or a configuration which rotationally drives the at least two linear image display devices provided on a disc. The stereoscopic image display apparatus can display a bright and extremely clear stereoscopic image without using a complicated optical system and a light transmissible display panel.

  • Patent number: 7149487
Abstract: In receiver systems for cellular phones using the W-CDMA method, the change in DC voltage occurring when the gain of a programmable gain amplifier (PGA circuit) is switched to adjust the gain for a received signal, can be suppressed. A sample-and-hold circuit is installed containing a “sample” mode for directly outputting a signal from the PGA section and also containing a “hold” mode for outputting the electric charge of a specified voltage stored in a capacitor. This sample-and-hold circuit normally operates in “sample” mode so the output signal from the PGA section is directly output, but is operated in “hold” mode at the gain switching timing of the PGA circuit, so that the electric charge of the specified voltage stored in the capacitor is output for a specified length of time (equal to the time required for the DC voltage change to converge to a stable level).

  • Patent number: 7027292
Abstract: Negative electrode foil and positive electrode foil having an oxide coating layer formed on the surface thereof with a separator, the separator containing a binder constituted of a compound having a vinyl group, interposed therebetween are wound up to thereby form a capacitor element. The content of binder in the separator is adjusted to 10–20% based on the total weight of separator before subjecting the capacitor element to restoration and chemical conversion. After the restoration and chemical conversion, the capacitor element is immersed in a liquid mixture prepared by mixing a polymerizable monomer, an oxidizer and a given solvent together so that polymerization reaction of conductive polymer is effected in the capacitor element to thereby form a solid electrolyte layer. The thus obtained capacitor element is inserted in a sheath case, and its opening end is fitted with sealing rubber. Sealing is accomplished by fastening operation, and aging is performed. Thus, a solid electrolytic capacitor is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20050151480
Abstract: An image display device includes at least one transmissive display panel arranged at different depth positions in a direction normal to a display surface of the image display device. Each of the transmissive display panels includes a light-emitting layer that is sandwiched between a front side transmissive film and a rear side transmissive film. The rear side transmissive film has an interface with a maximum refractive index difference that causes an efficiency of light emitted from the light-emitting layer to become smaller than a front side light emission efficiency in the characteristics of light-emission efficiency, which changes with respect to a film thickness of the transmissive film due to optical interference.

  • Patent number: 6873205
Abstract: An active filter (100) is disclosed with improved blocker signal rejection characteristics. Linear resistors, such as fixed value resistors (3, 4) are used at the input stage (72) of the filter (100) to suppress any blocker signal. A gain compensation stage (57) is added to the output stage (23) using resistors (24) fabricated with the same technology used to fabricate the input resistors (3, 4) in order to offset any gain changes associated with the input fixed value resistors (3, 4). In an exemplary embodiment, the fixed value resistors (3, 4) are fabricated using polysilicon.
