The pipe connection includes an annular seal plus a grip ring that has wedge-shaped grip elements that are radially spaced from one another about a ring member. One or more tightening elements pass through clamp members of each pipe connection. The mating surfaces are provided with an elastomeric seal, one or more clamps and one or more tightening elements that pass through the clamps.
