  • Publication number: 20230174852
Abstract: The present invention is directed, in general, to compositions containing electro-optic materials and high boiling point solvents allowing for improved, more efficient poling, as well as methods of poling such materials. Various embodiments of the present invention thus provide materials with excellent electro-optic properties which can be efficiently poled for use in electro-optic devices. In the various embodiments of the present invention, materials can be applied as thin films and efficiently poled at low temperatures with normally applied voltage, while simultaneously exhibiting excellent nonlinear optical macroscopic properties and thermal stability.

  • Patent number: 11354864
Abstract: A system and method for presenting location-based augmented reality road signs on or within a vehicle includes a database, a plurality of transmitters, and a plurality of vehicle integrated receivers. The database is held in a computer network accessible location and stores a plurality of datasets. The plurality of transmitters are connected to the database through the computer network and broadcast area-relevant datasets from the database wirelessly in a defined geographic coverage area. The plurality of vehicle integrated receivers are operative to receive area-relevant datasets and use the information therein to determine when a particular road sign is required and then generate a standardized road sign image for the required road sign and display the image on or in the vehicle as an augmented reality projection.

  • Publication number: 20220036537
Abstract: A system for blight and code violation detection is provided. The system includes a machine learning model that is trained using photographs of properties that are associated with blight and code violations and photographs that are not associated with blight and code violations. A fleet of vehicles, such as trash trucks, are equipped with cameras to take photographs of properties along their routes. The trained model may generate score for each photograph that indicates whether or not a property is blighted or has code violations. Those properties with a score that exceeds a threshold may be provided to a reviewer who may verify the finding. If the finding is verified, the reviewer may issue a letter or citation to the owner of the property, and positive feedback may be provided to the model. If the finding is not verified, negative feedback may be provided to the model.

  • Patent number: 10694648
Abstract: A system places a pin into at least one hole on an article. The system generally includes a moveable base on which the article is located, a press head for holding and inserting the pin into the hole, a first vision system to capture a first image of a designated hole on the article, and a second vision system to capture second and third images of the held pin relative to the press head respectively from two vantage points. A computing unit is configured to assign a relative coordinate consisting of a X-value and a Y-value being correspondingly indicative to an actual location of the hole, compute relative deviations presented between the held pin and the designated hole, and move the base to adjust the article in a manner correcting or compensating for the computed deviation prior to inserting the held pin into the hole.
