  • Publication number: 20190390569
Abstract: The thermal shrinkage of a casing (2) to regulate as best as possible the internal play between the rotor and the stator is carried out by a ring (4) fixed onto the skin (2) rather than by a circular ramp at a distance therefrom. The ring (4) comprises, between a collection box (8) and the skin (2), a foraminous plate (7), placed on an opening of the box (8) parallel to the skin (2) and at a short distance, in order to impose invariable and known ventilation conditions.

  • Publication number: 20190298854
Abstract: The present invention concerns drug delivery particles which can prevent interaction between a biologically-active cargo comprised within the particles and components of an aqueous environment in which said particles are present. The particles are sensitive to pH such that above a threshold pH level the biologically-active cargo becomes accessible to the surrounding environment. Such particles are accordingly useful for stably storing a biologically-active cargo in an aqueous composition containing components which would otherwise interact deleteriously with the cargo, and releasing the cargo to mediate a biological effect in the body of an animal, such as a human, to which the composition is administered. Also provided are compositions comprising such particles, as well as methods for making and using such particles and compositions.

  • Patent number: 9429385
Abstract: A drum magazine for loading paintballs and shaped projectiles into a magazine-fed firearm includes a spiral feed track that stores paintballs as well as a projectile feed assembly that pushes paintballs through the spiral feed track. Paintballs exit the spiral feed track through a feed port and through a modular feed adapter that is inserted into a paintball marker. A clock spring and a spring rotor are utilized in order to adjust the pressure that is exerted on paintballs within the spiral feed track. Tension in the clock spring may be increased to a desired level by rotating the spring rotor to wind the clock spring. Paintballs are prevented from loading when the drum magazine is not loaded into a paintball marker by a locking assembly. A ratcheting gear engages a gear locking pawl while the drum magazine is not loaded, preventing the clock spring from becoming unwound.

  • Publication number: 20150210470
Abstract: A system may include a utility chamber that is partially installed below a surface of ground; a lid, removably attached to the utility chamber, that covers an opening in a portion of the utility chamber that is above the surface of the ground; and a liner that stores waste and that includes one or more reinforcement components. The liner may be located inside the chamber and may be attached to the lid via the opening. The reinforcement components may be of sufficient strength to preclude the liner from expanding or becoming stuck in the utility chamber after the waste is inserted in the liner or when the lid is removed from the utility chamber to dispose of the waste.
