  • Publication number: 20060276057
Abstract: The invention concerns a transmission device for transmitting electrical signals between a rotor and a stator, having an annular space formed by the rotor and the stator, wherein the space receives at least one flat strip cable which extends between the rotor and the stator and can be wound and unwound in the space, and wherein at least one elastically resilient annular band is provided to support the flat strip cable in the space. The invention is characterized in that the annular band can be driven by the rotor and/or the stator via engagement sections provided on the side of the annular band.

  • Patent number: 7114528
Abstract: A heald shaft for weaving machine has a shaft rod (3) which is formed of a one-piece light-metal profile and two stiffening bodies (24, 25) glued to the shaft rod (3). The stiffening bodies bridge the entire width of the shaft rod (3), wherein the width is measured between the side walls (11, 12). The chambers 14, 16 for receiving the stiffening bodies (24, 25) each have at least one open side through which the stiffening body is visible from the outside and through which it may be introduced into the respective chamber (14, 16). This construction facilitates manufacture. Further, a rigidity in the working direction, as well as a good rigidity transversely thereto is achieved.

  • Patent number: 6650703
Abstract: An image transmitting remote object examination device includes (a) an image-recording system at the location of the object to be examined, (b) an observation station located at a distance from the image-recording system for the evaluation of the image and for the remote control of the image-recording system, and (c) an intervening, narrow band telecommunications link, by way of which the images taken are transferred to the observation station using image data compression and/or reduction together with the remote control commands to the image system. A system status-determining unit continuously records the overall system status relevant to image transmission, and dependent upon the overall system status, variably controls the image data compression and/or reduction and/or the number of individual telecommunication channels used in a transmission packet. The image quality required for a particular situation, together with the optimal on-line image impression, is thereby obtained.

  • Patent number: 6362848
Abstract: A method for controlling the exposure of a stationary mounted video camera is proposed, which makes it possible to attain an optimal exposure even in difficult light circumstances. For this purpose, measuring zones in the image are evaluated and, using the evaluation, a correction factor is calculated which influences the exposure parameters of the camera.

  • Patent number: 5770578
Abstract: The use of triterpensaponins, like notoginsenoside R1 (NR1) and/or astragaloside (ASIV) for the production of medicaments for stimulating the fibrinolytic activity and blocking the endotoxin effect, especially for the treatment of patients and animals which suffer from endotoxin shock or to limit the endotoxin shock. Corresponding medicaments are also suitable prophylactive and therapeutic treatment of patients of coronary heart disease, peripheral arterial disease for patients who suffer from angina pectoris and for the prevention of such diseases in healthy persons.

  • Patent number: 5587291
Abstract: Method for the quantitative determination of plasmin-.alpha.2-antiplasmin complexes, using a specific monoclonal antibody directed against the neoantigene in the plasmin-.alpha.2-antiplasmin complex, and use of such a method of determining PAP-complexes in plasma and serum to assess changes in the fibrinolytic potential.

  • Patent number: 5298401
Abstract: In a process for the quantitative determination of the function and antigenic concentration of a substance contained in a biological liquid, the substance is immobilized, the function is determined by the addition of a specific substrate which is then removed by washing, and in a subsequent step the immunological concentration of the bound substance is determined using an appropriate specific detector system with or without the use of an antibody.

  • Patent number: 4727059
Abstract: A fibronectin injectable solution is made by recovering a fibronectin-containing raw material which is solubilized, provided with stabilizers and then subjected to an initial heat treatment at 57.degree. to 60.degree. for at least ten hours. After fibronectin concentration and the addition of further stabilizers and plasma-protein vehicle, the solution is again subjected to a temperature of 60.degree. for ten hours to provide an injectable solution which is free from virulent hepatitis.
