  • Patent number: 11648211
Abstract: Pharmaceutical formulations (nanococktails) include two or more nanoparticulate delivery vehicles each including an active agent. The nanococktails can be formulated at any ratio of active agents by changing the ratio of nanoparticulate delivery vehicles in the nanococktail. The nanoparticulate delivery vehicles can have matched surface potential to prevent aggregation. The nanoparticulate delivery vehicles of the combined formulation are designed to provide each active agent with desired, preferably overlapping therapeutic windows and a specifically selected pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profile when the nanococktail is administered to a subject. Each of the nanoparticulate delivery vehicles can be designed to enhance solubility, duration of action, targeting, stability, and to program release while preventing degradation of an active agent and preventing side effects, toxicity, and tolerability issues in a subject.

Abstract: Techniques for a distributed data processing application service in a cloud provider network are described. A virtual machine bundle is obtained, the virtual machine bundle including a copy of a memory and one or more registers of a paused virtual machine executing a distributed data processing application runtime. A request to launch a virtual machine to execute a distributed data processing application runtime is received, the request to launch the virtual machine including a bundle identifier that identifies the virtual machine bundle. The virtual machine is launched based at least in part on the virtual machine bundle. The virtual machine sends a message to register the virtual machine with a cluster of virtual machines.

  • Publication number: 20180200373
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a thiolated hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate (T-HPMCP) drug delivery vehicle which is pH responsive and is loaded with either a protein drug or an antigen, to T-HPMCP microparticles, and to a production method for an ileum-specific, pH responsive, T-HPMCP drug delivery vehicle, the method including a step of loading a protein drug or an antigen onto the T-HPMCP microparticles. The T-HPMCP microparticles of the present disclosure are soluble in chlorinated methane because of the introduction of the thiol group, while a T-HPMCP drug delivery vehicle produced from the particles can efficiently effect in vivo delivery of the protein drug or antigen which is loaded thereon, since said vehicle is pH responsive such that the in vivo residence time is extended and the vehicle can act specifically on the ileum.
