According to the invention, the wiper blade (10) has an ageing indicator element (21) for the wiper blade (10), said ageing element being covered by a protective element (25), wherein the protective element (25) is constructed such that, and/or is arranged on the wiper blade (10) such that a mounting of the wiper blade (10) on the wiper arm (2) is only possible after a removal of the protective element (25) from the ageing indicator element (21).
