Abstract: A waste disposal system includes a pulverizing tank where wastes are put into; a pulverizing device for pulverizing the wastes and making them into slurry; one or more heat and dry tanks connected to the pulverizing tank for drying and heating the slurry; a heating device for heating the heat and dry tank; and a vapor discharge device for discharging vapors generated by the heat and dry process of the slurry. The waste disposal system further includes a slurry drain unit for discharging the heated and dried slurry.

Abstract: A tube-type container is disclosed that can be squeezed to dispense its remaining contents for 1˜2 additional times of use and refilled with contents. The container includes: a tube that is configured by a cylindrical body whose inside is hollow, whose one end is closed by a crimp seal, and whose other end has an opening, the tube having a receiving space therein; a closure for closing the opening of the cylindrical body of the tube, the closure having a spout at its outer surface, wherein the spout forms a dispensing hole at its center and forms a thread on its outer surface; and a lid that is coupled to the thread and closes the dispensing hole. The container further includes a cutting means or a coupling member. The cutting means is formed close to the opening of the cylindrical body and separates the cylindrical body into two parts. The coupling member is located between the tube and the closure and uncouples and couples the tube and closure from and to each other.

Abstract: The present invention provides a reclosable plastic bag including: a first film and a second film of which both sides and lower sides adhere to each other and the combined upper side is open; a zipper including a first zipper and a second zipper that are provided on the insides of the upper sides of the first film and second film and engaged with each other; a slider engaging the first zipper with the second zipper, sliding on the zipper; and end stops of which both ends are formed in flange shapes and that each have a through-hole at the center to prevent the slider from separating from the ends of the zipper by being fitted in insertion holes formed through the first film and the second film.

Abstract: There is provided a micro power generating device. A compressor impeller and a turbine wheel are coupled to the ends of a rotating shaft. A cooler is provided for lowering a temperature of the compressed air from the compressor impeller. The compressed air is mixed with the fuel and combusted in a combustion chamber. An air foil thrust bearing for supporting the rotating shaft has a thrust collar coupled to the rotating shaft, as well as a pair of thrust discs located apart from the thrust collar and fixed to the housing. Impeller type seals are formed at both surfaces of the thrust collar and impulse turbine blades are formed at the periphery of the thrust collar. A generator is positioned between the air foil thrust bearing and the compressor impeller. A portion of the cool air is bypassed toward the generator and the impulse turbine blades from the cooler.

Abstract: Disclosed are a remote control system for a home appliance network and a method for operating the same. The system includes a wired and wireless Internet network; at least one home server for controlling and managing a home network connected to a plurality of home appliances; and a central portal server for updating an IP (Internet Protocol) address to a varied IP address to manage the home server whenever an IP address allocated to the home server for using the Internet network varies, and for exchanging data with the home server. The system and method enable the central portal server to manage a plurality of home servers and remotely control a plurality of home appliances connected to the home network by allowing the home server to transmit a key message containing a varied IP address so that an existing IP address stored in a database of the central portal server can be updated to a new IP address when a home server using a dynamic IP is connected to the central portal server.

Abstract: A protection circuit board resulting in a compact battery pack having a higher capacity than a conventional battery pack of the same size, a battery pack including the protection circuit board and a method of fabricating the protection circuit board includes: a first lead terminal disposed on a first side of the protection circuit board; and a first aperture for exposing the first lead terminal to a second side of the protection circuit board. The battery pack also includes: a bare cell including an electrode terminal; a second lead terminal arranged over the electrode terminal; and a protection circuit board electrically connected to the second lead terminal and the bare cell, and having an aperture for exposing the second lead terminal arranged the first side of the protection circuit board to the second side of the protection circuit board.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a labyrinth seal used for controlling the axial leakage rate of a working fluid by using the rotating shaft of a turbo-machine such as a compressor or turbine The labyrinth seal includes: a seal disk radially extending from a rotating shaft and being formed on the rotating shaft; a seal ring spaced apart from the seal disk and being opposed to the seal disk; an actuator for moving the seal ring to adjust a gap between the seal disk and the seal ring; and a controller for controlling an operation of the actuator. By actively adjusting the gap between the seal disk and the seal ring, it is possible to effectively prevent the working fluid from leaking.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed which can shape fruits and root and tuberous vegetables. The shaping apparatus is operated in such a manner that: when root and tuberous vegetable or fruit is placed in a cutting blade case and rotated, the object is spirally tracked and the spirally tracked object is removed from the lower side of the cutting blade case, so that the spirally tracked object is picked up by an additional stick and then ornamented into various forms. The shaping apparatus allows fruits and root and tuberous vegetables to be easily treated in a variety of ways, as per the second process, thereby enhancing the product value of processed foodstuffs produced from the first process.

Abstract: There is provided an air foil bearing. The air foil bearing comprises a bearing house and a first foil, wherein a first end of the first foil is fixed with respect to the bearing housing and a second end of the first foil is extended along a peripheral surface of a rotating shaft while maintaining a predetermined clearance with respect to the rotating shaft to thereby become a free end. The air foil bearing also comprises a second foil fabricated from a porous metallic material and extended along the first foil between the first foil and the bearing housing.

The configuration reduces or minimizes volumetric change in the dimensions due to volumetric expansion of the electrode assembly. The battery may include an electrode assembly having first and second electrode plates with a separator interposed therebetween. First and second terminal portions extending from the first and second electrode plates and a pouch casing having an open portion and for housing the electrode assembly. A pouch cover coupled and sealed with an opening of the pouch casing. The pouch cover having at least one throughhole and at least one electrode pin fastened to the throughhole. The electrode pin is electrically connected to one of the first and second terminal portions of the electrode assembly.
