  • Publication number: 20090159250
Abstract: An oil cooler includes a pair of spaced inlet/outlet boss portions; an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe coupled to the inlet/outlet boss portions, respectively; and tubes coupled to the inlet/outlet boss portions through both ends thereof to form an oil flow passage. The tubes are disposed in parallel and in a multi-stage arrangement. Each tube has a portion in fluid flow relationship with the neighboring tube at an area between the inlet and outlet pipes so oil can flow between them.

  • Patent number: 6908287
Abstract: Disclosed is an axial flow fan capable of achieving reduction of noise while having a high blowing efficiency compared to the power consumption of a motor adapted to drive the axial flow fan. The axial flow fan includes a hub, and a plurality of blades extending radially around the hub. Each blade has a sweep angle varying gradually from a backward angle at a root of the blade connected to the hub to a forward angle at a tip of the blade, while having a flow dispersion region having a plurality of regions where the sweep angle is alternately changed, at a region defined between a backward sweep angle region at the root of the blade and a forward sweep angle region at the tip of the blade. Each blade has a longitudinal cross section curved to have a wave structure between the root of the blade and the tip of the blade. The axial flow fan may further include a fan band connecting tips of the blades.

  • Patent number: 6782944
Abstract: An air conditioner for vehicles is disclosed. This air conditioner feeds recirculation and fresh air in a separate air feeding or a mixed air feeding using a single intake duct and a single intake control door, thus improving its heating and defrosting efficiency during a heating mode operation, and preventing an undesired discharging of white fogging from the vents during a cooling mode operation by changing its air feeding mode from a recirculation air mode to a fresh air mode. This air conditioner also has a simple construction and is reduced in its production cost.

  • Patent number: 6382544
Abstract: In a fishing reel, a spool (200) can be easily and firmly assembled with a housing (100) and is not unexpectedly separated from the housing after assembled, and the rotation of the spool in one direction can be braked without moving a main shaft (110) relative to the housing. The fishing reel has a housing and a spool. A main shaft is fixed to a hub (130) of the housing. The spool has a winding drum (210) disposed at a center thereof. The winding drum contains a one-way clutch integrally fixed thereto. A sleeve surrounds a central portion of the main shaft with being in contact with the central portion. The sleeve is fitted in the one-way clutch and permitted to rotate in only one direction by the one-way clutch when the spool has been assembled with the housing. The spool can rotate in only one direction relative to the housing when the frictional force between the main shaft and the sleeve is adjusted to be maximum. The spool can rotate in either direction more freely as the frictional force is decreased.
