  • Patent number: 9436882
Abstract: In embodiments, one or more computer-readable media may have instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor of a computing device provide the computing device with a redaction module. The redaction module may be configured to receive a request to redact a selection of text from a document and identify instances of the text occurring within the document through an analysis of word coordinate information of an image of the document. The redaction module may further be configured to generate redaction information, including redaction coordinates, the redaction coordinates may be based on the word coordinate information associated with respective instances of the text occurring within the document. The redactions, when applied to the image in accordance with the redaction coordinates, may redact the respective instances of the text. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

  • Publication number: 20150126400
Abstract: The invention generally relates to method for screening for a condition in a subject. In certain embodiments, methods of the invention involve obtaining a pool of nucleic acids from a sample, incubating the nucleic acids with first and second sets of binders, in which the first set binds uniquely to different regions of a target nucleic acid in the pool, the second set binds uniquely to different regions of a reference nucleic acid in the pool, and the first and second sets include different detectable labels, removing unbound binders, detecting the labels, and screening for a condition based upon results of the detecting step.

  • Publication number: 20130210638
Abstract: The invention generally relates to methods for sequencing a nucleic acid template from both a 5? and a 3? end in a single sequencing reaction. In certain embodiments, methods of the invention involve amplifying a nucleic acid template to produce a plurality of amplicons, splitting the amplicons into first and second portions, attaching a first oligonucleotide including a first universal primer site to a 5? end of the amplicons in the first portion, and attaching a second oligonucleotide including a second universal primer site to a 3? end of the amplicons in the second portion. The first and second primer sites may be the same or may be different. The method additionally involves pooling the first and second portions, and sequencing the pooled amplicons, thereby sequencing a nucleic acid template from both a 5? and a 3? end in a single sequencing reaction.
