  • Publication number: 20170307046
Abstract: A damper assembly includes a bearing assembly including a radially outer surface. A housing surrounds the bearing assembly and includes a radially inner surface facing the radially outer surface. The radially outer and inner surfaces define a plurality of annuli therebetween. The damper assembly further includes a plurality of fluid supplies coupled in flow communication with the plurality of annuli and configured to deliver a fluid to each annulus of the plurality of annuli. Each fluid supply of the plurality of fluid supplies independently controls the fluid within the respective annulus.

  • Publication number: 20170071815
Abstract: Devices and methods for mobility assistance are disclosed. The disclosed features may assist a person with movement by providing support for the person as the person moves. Further, features for easily storing and transporting items in various compartments of the device are disclosed. Support of the user and/or items may be provided by a lightweight composite structure that further allows for free movement of the user, such as taking full strides while walking or running. The device may further be repeatedly configured between collapsed and deployed configurations via a locking mechanism and an actuatable release. Pivotable joints allow the various sections to be stowed into a smaller, collapsed configuration that is easily carried or otherwise transported, as well as deployed into a larger, deployed configuration for assistance while moving.

  • Patent number: 9320187
Abstract: The present invention is a light-weight, single handle post hole digger that can include an outer handle and an inner shaft. The post hole digger can have two blade that are used to cut into the ground and to loosen soil when in an open position and then used to capture and remove soil when in a closed position. A first blade can be attached to the inner shaft by an adjustable pin or bolt and a second movable blade can be connected to the outer handle. A link bar can be connected to the outer handle at a sleeve pivot connection and connected to said movable blade at a blade pivot connection so that when the outer handle is rotated, the blades move between an open position and a closed position. The link bar can be disposed generally orthogonal to an axis defined along the length of the outer handle.

  • Patent number: 8215266
Abstract: A bathing tub for pets includes a basin with lateral wings projecting from opposite sides. The wings are useful as handles and work surfaces, and engage the rim of a sink into which the tub is placed to prevent the tub from tipping. One or more interchangeable elements can be snapped into the center of the basin to construct a mound assembly in the center of the basin of the proper height for a particular animal; the mound height can be changed, by adding or removing elements, for other animals. While being bathed, the pet stands in the basin with its feet straddling the mound; this prevents the pet from sitting or lying down in the tub. Restraining straps may be applied through slots in the tub to keep the animal in a correct position.
