    Abstract: A substantially odourless aromatic amine trapping agent is used in a composition including perfume for the purpose of enabling the perfume and trapping agent to react chemically together spontaneously and reversibly to form a reaction product form which the perfume can be released. In the reaction product, the perfume may be protected against degradation, premature evaporation etc., with the perfume being releasable from the reaction product. In contrast to a pro-perfume, the reaction product formed the present invention is not used by being included as such in a mixture of perfumes or perfumed product, but instead the perfume and trapping agent are included in a mixture of perfumes or perfumed product where they react spontaneously in situ to form a transient reaction product for subsequent release of the perfume. The invention also provides a perfume composition including the trapping agent.

    Abstract: An ink jet printer has a maintenance station in which a movable sled starts from a known position due to a diagonally disposed return spring. A cam profile near the uppermost portion of vertical movement of a movable sled is produced in accordance with a quadratic equation. This quadratic designed equation profile reduces the force required to move the movable sled up the cam profile to its uppermost position. The return spring, which holds the movable sled in the known position by urging a front wall of the movable sled against a front wall of a support housing, also absorbs energy to decrease the noise level of the printer.

    Abstract: An ink mist controller for a maintenance station including spit louvers and a spit wheel which serve as accumulating surfaces. A flow of air directs ink mist through the louvers and around the spit wheel. Mist that is not attracted to a surface is carried to a manifold which filters, then exhausts, air to the environment, thereby preventing contamination of articles surrounding the printer. Color ink droplets are ejected onto the spit louvers. Low pressure is created between and below the louvers, which increases air and mist velocity over the entire spit zone. An unrestricted air curtain occurs on three sides of the color printhead to further control the location of mist deposit. Black ink is ejected onto the spit wheel which holds the mist deposit during evaporation. At defined intervals, the spit wheel rotates a fraction of a revolution. A scraper removes the non-volatile residue from the wheel during rotation. An air curtain is created on all four sides of the spit wheel to direct mist to this surface.

A ratchet drive assembly is coupled to the frame for effecting rotation of the device. The ratchet drive assembly includes a ratchet gear coupled to the device, wherein the ratchet gear has a plurality of teeth. A distal end of a back-check member engages the teeth of the ratchet gear for effecting a rotation of the device in a first direction and prevents a rotation of the device in a direction opposite to the first direction. The rotation of the device is effected as the printhead cap is moved in a vertical direction.

A first pair of normally closed, electrical contacts are mounted on the actuator blade and the third conductive arm.     Abstract: A polymerization process for olefinically or acetylenically unsaturated monomers is disclosed. The process comprises contacting the one or more of the monomers with a suitable ionic catalyst system in the presence of a long-chain, linear alkyl ligand-containing organo aluminum compound. Preferred ionic catalysts are derived from 1) bridged hafnium compounds, 2) silicon bridged monocyclopentadienyl titanium compounds and 3) unbridged, bulky Group 15 containing, bulky monocyclopentadienyl titanium compounds, and a non-coordinating anion precursor compound. A class of preferred anion precursors consists of hydrated salts comprising a Group 1 or 2 cation and a non-coordinating anion. Using the preferred ionic catalysts high temperature processes, e.g., at or above 90.degree. C. can be conducted to prepare polyolefins, particularly ethylene copolymers, of both high molecular weight and high comonomer content.

An adjustable stop assembly permits fine adjustment of the maximum distance between the lower and upper platens when the lower platen is raised.
