The processor suspends the neighbor cell measurement when the serving cell is not changed for a period of time and a signal quality of the serving cell is equal to or higher than a threshold.

The method includes the steps of: classifying a plurality of wake-up events of the electronic device according to at least one predetermined rule, wherein a specific wake-up event of the plurality of wake-up events is classified to be a triggering event, and one or more other wake-up events of the plurality of wake-up events are classified to be grouping events; arranging the grouping events as a group corresponding to the triggering event by setting wake-up time of each of the grouping events to be equivalent to that of the triggering event, for triggering the grouping events by utilizing the triggering event; and when the wake-up time of the triggering event is reached, performing operations corresponding to the triggering event and the grouping events, respectively.

    Abstract: A mobile device is provided, which includes a modem processor and an application processor. The modem processor determines the channel quality between the mobile device and a wireless communication network. The modem processor calculates a counting value every time when determining the channel quality. The modem processor determines the overhead for data transmission between the mobile device and the wireless communication network according to the counting value. The modem processor determines the overhead to be low when the counting value reaches a preset value. The modem processor reduces the time for the counting value to reach the preset value when conducting a handover for the mobile device. The application processor allows or postpones a data synchronization started by an application with a server through the wireless communication network according to at least one preset condition. For example, one of the preset conditions is the aforementioned overhead.

The system includes a wireless communication device for wirelessly communicating with the real-time information acquiring module. The wireless communication device includes a detection module to detect movement information of the car, and a control module to compare the movement information with pre-stored standard parameter information. The standard parameter information can include the acceleration value of the car becoming zero, and a backward movement beginning within 20 seconds after the acceleration value becomes zero. The control module signals the real-time information acquiring module when the movement information matches the pre-stored standard parameter information.
