Abstract: A mobile phone and a location update method adapted for the mobile phone are provided. The mobile phone includes a location update processing unit, a location area judging unit, a scope acquiring unit, a scope judging unit, and a selecting unit. When the mobile phone frequently moves back and forth within a predetermined scope of a boundary area of two adjacent location areas, the mobile phone does not perform a location update, and thus the mobile phone does not need send updated location information to a network server and saves a lot of power.

Abstract: A data transmission method for transmitting data from a first computer to a second computer includes: obtaining a first image of visual information displayed on the first computer and displaying the first image; determining whether a to-be-copied portion from the first image is selected; storing the selected to-be-copied portion from the first image; obtaining a second image of visual information displayed on the second computer and displaying the second image; determining whether a to-be-updated portion from the second image is selected; and transmitting the selected-to-be-copied portion from the first image and the to-be-updated portion from the second image to the second computer. Abstract: An exemplary system for assisting a driver while reversing his or her car is used in conjunction with the car being fitted with a real-time information acquiring module to collect information concerning a road behind the car. The system includes a wireless communication device for wirelessly communicating with the real-time information acquiring module. The wireless communication device includes a detection module to detect movement information of the car, and a control module to compare the movement information with pre-stored standard parameter information. The standard parameter information can include the acceleration value of the car becoming zero, and a backward movement beginning within 20 seconds after the acceleration value becomes zero. The control module signals the real-time information acquiring module when the movement information matches the pre-stored standard parameter information.

Abstract: An electronic device with a prompt function includes a display unit, a storage unit, a trigger detecting unit, and a processing unit. The storage unit stores a to-do list recording at least one item and at least one trigger condition. Each of the at least one item is associated with one of the at least one trigger condition. The trigger detecting unit is configured to receive input. The processing unit is configured to compare information of the received input with the at least one trigger condition. If there is a match, the processing unit displays the item associated with the one of the at least one trigger condition on the display unit, and outputs predetermined prompt content. The marking module creates a plurality of flags for the audio file. Each flag is associated with a time point in the audio file, and is assigned an identifier. The playing module identifies an identifier of a flag to acquire a time point in response to a user input, and begin playing the audio file from the acquired time point.

Abstract: An adjusting method for adjusting a file includes determining a position of a first point of focus on the display and recording the content displayed at the position of the first point of focus when the electronic device is in a steady state, determining a position of a second point of focus according to the movement of the electronic device and the position of the first point of focus on the display, and adjusting the content by moving the content displayed on the first point of focus to the position of the second point of focus. Abstract: A method for booting up and shutting down an electronic device is applied in the electronic device. The electronic device includes a processor, a first storage, and a second storage. The speed of the processor accessing data from the first storage is faster than the speed of the processor accessing data from the second storage. The second storage stores the boot data for booting up the electronic device. The method includes: receiving signals for booting up the electronic device; detecting whether the first storage stores the boot data; and obtaining the boot data from the first storage to boot up the electronic device if the first storage stores the boot data. The method includes: receiving image content including time information from an external device communicating with the electronic device; obtaining the time information from the received image content; comparing the time information with the stored execution time to determine the content of which file is displayed and visible at the obtained time; and finding the determined file according to the file name and the storage path of the file and transmitting the file to the external device. The notifying unit is configured to output a locating signal. The switch unit is configured to electrically connect the battery to the notifying unit in response to the induced current, thereby activating the notifying unit.

Abstract: The method includes: associating different cell phones to different enciphering and deciphering keys of an asymmetric encryption algorithm. Access information of the network lock corresponding to the cell phone is enciphered by the corresponding enciphering key. Then, the enciphered network lock is stored in the cell phone, and the corresponding deciphering key is recorded in an inerasable memory of the cell phone. The original plaintext access information of the network lock and the enciphering key is stored only in a service provider of the communication network. When the cell phone tries to access the communication network, it deciphers the enciphered network lock using the deciphering key stored in the inerasable memory to verify the network lock of the cell phone.
