    Abstract: An optical adjusting apparatus having a composite pattern structure is described. The optical adjusting apparatus include a substrate layer, at least one first pattern module and at least one second pattern module. The substrate has a first optical surface and a second optical surface opposite to the first optical surface. The first pattern module positioned on the first optical surface, wherein the first pattern module has a first structure unit along a first arrangement direction. The second pattern module which is adjacent to the first pattern module and positioned on the first optical surface. The second pattern module has the second structure unit along a second arrangement direction. The first structure unit of the first pattern module is connected to the second structure unit of the second pattern module. Therefore, the convergent angle of a light module is adjusted and the brightness of the light module is increased along specific direction.

    Abstract: A composite brightness enhancement film having a two-phase hazing layer is provided, and includes a substrate, a two-phase hazing layer and a brightness enhancement structure layer. The substrate has a light inputting surface and a light outputting surface on which the two-phase hazing layer is formed. The two-phase hazing layer includes at least two resin material uniformly mixed with each other. The at least two resin material is incompletely dissolved into each other, and has different refractive indexes from each other, so that the two-phase hazing layer can be used to diffuse and haze a light. The brightness enhancement structure layer is formed on the two-phase hazing layer, and has a plurality of brightness enhancement micro-structures for enhancing the light.

    Abstract: A sheet-fed image-scanning apparatus for scanning an object on a tray is disclosed and includes a rigid mainframe, a carriage module, a second light source, a transmission module, and a holding module. The rigid mainframe provides a moving route for the tray to be moved into or out from the sheet-fed image-scanning apparatus. The carriage module illuminates the object and senses the light reflected from or penetrated through the object so as to scan the image of the object. The second light source illuminates the object from a position opposite to the carriage module. The transmission module moves the tray into and out from the sheet-fed image-scanning apparatus. The holding module keeps the tray from deviation while the tray is moving within the moving route.

In the motor-starting stage, the sled motor is driven at a first target speed.     Abstract: A method of correcting a step number of a stepping motor in an optical drive is disclosed.
