    Abstract: The invention discloses a phosphor wheel, and a projector using the phosphor wheel. The projector includes an illumination system, a light valve, and a projection lens. The illumination system is used to provide an illumination beam. The light valve is disposed on a transmission path of the illumination beam and converts the illumination beam into an image beam. The projection lens is disposed on a transmission path of the image beam. The illumination system includes an excitation light source and a phosphor wheel. The excitation light source is used to provide an excitation beam to the phosphor wheel. The phosphor wheel includes a motor, a disk plate, a reflection member, and at least one phosphor layer. The motor has a shaft. The disk plate is connected to the shaft. In the invention, the phosphor wheel has better reliability and rigidity, and has the effect of enhancing heat dissipation.

    Abstract: A projection screen for receiving a visible image beam and an ultraviolet beam from a projection device is provided. The projection screen includes a substrate, an anti-reflection layer and an anti-ultraviolet layer. The substrate includes a first surface adjacent to the projection device, a second surface away from the projection device and opposite to the first surface, a scattering reflection layer disposed between the first surface and the second surface, and an ultraviolet absorption layer disposed between the first surface and the second surface. The scattering reflection layer scatters and reflects the visible image beam. The ultraviolet absorption layer absorbs the ultraviolet beam so as to be changed from a transparent state to an opaque state. The anti-reflection layer is disposed on the first surface. The anti-ultraviolet layer is disposed at the second surface. The ultraviolet absorption layer is located between the scattering reflection layer and the anti-ultraviolet layer.

    Abstract: An illumination system includes at least one excitation light source, a holographic optical element and a phosphor wheel. The excitation light source provides a first color beam. The holographic optical element is located on a path of the first color beam and transmits the first color beam to the phosphor wheel along a first path. The phosphor wheel has a light wavelength conversion portion and a reflective portion. The light wavelength conversion portion converts the first color beam into a second color beam and reflects the second color beam back to the holographic optical element. The reflective portion reflects the first color beam back to the holographic optical element. The holographic optical element transmits the second color beam and the first color beam reflected from the phosphor wheel along a second path, and the first path is different from the second path. A projection apparatus is also provided.
