    Abstract: A voltage conversion device has a non-linear gain, for converting analog voltage provided by an analog voltage source. The voltage conversion device comprises a gain decision module, a voltage selection module, and a voltage output module. The gain decision module comprises an analog to digital (A/D) converter and a gain selector. The A/D converter is used for converting analog voltage provided by the analog voltage source into digital signals. The gain selector is used for determining a gain. The voltage selection module is used for outputting a direct-current (DC) voltage. The voltage output module has a first input end coupled to the gain selector, an output end coupled to the gain selector, and a second input end coupled to the voltage selection module, for outputting an amplified result of the DC voltage outputted from the voltage selection module.

    Abstract: An LED illuminant driving circuit and an automatic brightness compensation method thereof are provided herein. The automatic brightness compensation method includes: providing a target value; detecting an operation period of a pulse of an output of the LED illuminant driving circuit, the pulse is adapted to an LED illuminant for making the light emitting; deciding a peak value according to the target value and the operation period; and setting a peak level of the pulse according to the peak value. The LED illuminant driving circuit and the automatic brightness compensation method thereof provides a stable average current/voltage to the LED illuminant and avoids brightness variations of the light emitting.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for stabilizing output from a Phase Lock Loop (PLL) and the PLL thereof is disclosed. The method mainly relates to enabling the control voltage of a voltage control oscillator VCO in the PLL remained unchanged by means of turning off a charge-discharge current source of a charge pump in a PLL in response to a detected reference signal lower than a default value. Furthermore, the method enables the pulse frequency output from the VCO no exceeding a default tolerant frequency range in a distance from a desired output frequency. Thus, when the reference signal resumes the original frequency, the PLL can quickly lock the phase and the frequency again.

The switches switch from “off” state to “on” state in an enable transition, and switch from “on” state to “off” state in a disable transition. The switch control circuit is coupled to the switches for controlling the on/off states of the switches and allowing the charge pump circuit to provide an output voltage that is different from an input voltage. The switch control circuit prolongs the time required for enable transition of the switches to be longer than the time for disable transition thereof. The equivalent impedances of the switches change from high values to low values when the switches are at the enable transition.

The dynamic bias generator unit generates and adjusts the bias voltage in accordance with the comparing result of the comparator unit. Therefore, the dynamic bias generator unit controls the amplifier unit to operate in a low static current mode when the input signal is in steady state; and the dynamic bias generator unit controls the amplifier unit to operate in a high dynamic current mode when the input signal is in transition state.
